So I've lost 7lbs in only a few days. I'm pretty sure that this is mostly water weight though. I definitely know that losing a lot of weight in a short period time can be bad for my body. But it is good to see some sort of decrease in my weight. I'm hoping to consistently lose a pound or two a week. This loss is also encouraging more that this plan is a plan that works for me.

Also as a update on my soda situation- I've been able to stick with just drinking only one can a day only after I reach my goal of 8 cups of water. Hooray for me!

So far I'm having a little trouble with exercising. The truth of the matter is that I haven't really started to, but that is not to say that I don't intend on beginning to do so. This site explained that I can take it slow, so I'm going to do just that . But I'm also doing a few things right I've always had problems with my sleeping patterns so I'm sticking to the goal of at least 8 hours of sleep per day. Also I'm being very strict with myself on how much water to drink. I used to be dependent on sugary soda about two months before I started this program I switched to diet in order to break my addiction to the sugar and caffeine. My new goal is to stop drinking soda all together. So in order to do this I've made deal with myself that I can only drink one diet soda per day if I drink all 8 cups of water the day before. I think this is a good strategy. I eventually do not want to drink soda at all.

I'm also not consistent with taking my multi-vitamin. So I'm beginning a new goal to take my vitamin everyday . Since I'm a vegetarian it is even more important that I take it everyday, not just when I remember to or "feel like it."

So I'm beginning this journey into a new lifestyle so that I will be able to live a long happy and healthy life. I think that this site will help to motivate me to learn from my past mistakes(and upcoming ones too) and steer me into the right direction when it comes to food, fitness, and my overall well-being. These first couple of days have been difficult, but tomorrow is a new day and I plan to treat it as though it is my first on this program. I really enjoy that fact that unlike (the other site like this one) this site is very user frindly and it provide a ton of resources for free. It actually tells you what to aim for in terms of fat, carbs, caloric, and protein intake. Which was also something fitday lacked. I'm excited to start this and I want this to work. I know it will not be very easy but I intend to try to at least accomplish the small goals in the beginning even if I cannot achieve the large ones off the bat. I know that in life small changes can lead to BIG RESULTS!
