1Year SparkVersary

Saturday, February 25, 2012

emoticon I can't believe I made it this far and stuck with it. Much thanks Sparkpeople, its groups/teams and my Spark Buddies. emoticon

77 lbs down and counting. This biggest thing that I proud of is that I actually work out. Never in a million years would have thought that I would love exercise. I never go wrong with a great workout. Breaking out a sweat is the ultimate stress-reliever and mood regulator, for me.

As I look back over this year over this past year, I'm happy for:
Being able to actually enjoy shopping for clothes.
I can park far because I want to walk.
I can cross my legs (the whole time sitting).
I can sit indian style.
I can complete a whole Taebo (and others) video and do it full out .
I have collar bones.
My double chin is gone.
I really don't have to eat chocolate when I see it!
I can run.
I love me.
Anything is possible if we really want it.
This is a lifestyle not a trend.

This year shifted my outlook on health and myself. And for that I am happy.

Ripped in 30 Week 3=DONE!!

Saturday, February 25, 2012

emoticonOk week 3 was a KILLER!!! I thought I was dying, literally. Goes by really fast. This time I did 5 days straight and I really felt it! As I stated, it goes by pretty fast, so those days that I did not feel like doing it I knew that it would be over soon. I got up off my rear and did it. Which lead me to do another workout thereafter!!

I don't like the duck walks or crazy squat jumps but I did it. Funny how I felt like yelling at Jillian (never had that before)!! But each workout was well worth it.
Week 4 here I come (cringing)!!

Ripped in 30 Week 2=DONE

Sunday, February 19, 2012

emoticon Week 2 down. Was not easy. Some days I did the modified and other the advanced. Jillian's combos are insane (in a good way). My butt and abs has been hurting and my arms are looking great!! There were days that I didn't want to do it but it goes by quickly and besides I never regret when its DONE.
I really love Jillian and excited that I'm excited that I'm halfway done.

Ripped in 30 Week 1= DONE

Saturday, February 11, 2012

Overall good. Happy that I can now hold a plank and do a side plank!! I must say the 3rd day was hard. I guess my motivation and nutrition for that day was off. But I kept going. Off to week 2!

The best part of your blog is "I kept going". That's what it's all about. Keep it moving... keep pushing... keep going.

Well done.

Day 1 Jillian Micheals Ripped in 30 Days and Feb Goals

Friday, February 03, 2012

So I figured that I should do a weekly or daily blog that will aid in my accountability. Last month I completed BodyRock.TV 30 day challenge and I loved it. My inner bad a$$ was brought out. Never thought that I could actually do the moves let alone complete. I really believe documenting kept me going. I'm also starting to focus on running again.

Goals for Febrauary(:
-Eat more clean (for some reason I have been snacking on junk an awful lot lately).
-Aim for 50 mileage
-Complete Ripped in 30
-Have at least one Green Juice 3 X week
-Take at least 5 minutes daily embracing the moment and giving thanks
-Meet 188 goal for Done Girl Shamrockin Challenge
-Study ASWB at least 30 min. 5 X week
