1. Learn the peyote stitch
2. Drink 2 8 oz glasses of water before every meal
3. Do 15 min of cardio every morning
4. Do strength training twice a week

I don't know what a peyote stitch is emoticon
I like your goal of strength training twice a week-I was trying to do it 3 times and I was sore ALL the time and I think that actually made me move around less-now I do it twice with a yoga in between

Winter Challenge expectations

I have once again signed up for the 10 week challenge. I will not finish this challenge feeling defeated for I have made many new friends, I am exercising three times a week and watching what I eat. I will remain positive and focused one day at a time!

1st week of the summer challenge

Hello Divas-
I am pretty proud of myself for this first week of the summer challenge. I planned to go to workout classes 3 times this week and accomplished that and did a class today for "the last chance workout". I took a strength class which used bands, stability ball and weights. I will probably be sore for a few days. Now all I have to do is get the eating under control. I hope the scale reflects all the hard work I put in.

WEEK 4 PROGRESS REPORT

Hello fellow DIVA team members:

I haven't written very many blogs- I would rather read others than write my own. Since starting this challenge I have lost 7.8 pounds and have increased my exercise. I now go to Zumba an additional day a week because a friend and I reconnect on Mondays. I am keeping a food journal and allow myself one day a week to overindulge a bit (tonight we are going over to a friend's house for lasagna).

My job is making me fat!

I have been working for two weeks and in that time I have gained 3.7 pounds. The scale is going in the wrong direction. Since I have been there we have had lunch with the supervisor, a birthday celebration and meetings with treats. My willpower keeps wavering and my schedule is not allowing me to exercise as much as I need to. I am going to have to come up with a solid plan so this does not continue. Wish me luck.

    We have an office like that too.. and it is very difficult. One of the most powerful things is to find a place where the food is out of sight from you and you have to make a deliberate trip to go and get some. It helps me a LOT.

    I know what you mean! Between my last 2 jobs I gained 30 lbs over hte course of 4 years! Now, I hired a personal trainer and am doing everything I can do reverse the damage. It's hard though, because you get stuck in a routine so I've had to buckle down adn really be disciplined.

I know you can do it! Try bringing your own lunch to work and snacks so when you have those treats in front of you, you can resist. Or share with a coworker! If there's a cupcake, split it in half.
