Mocha Almond Iced Latte
(Can use a blender but a magic bullet works amazingly expecially when using the larger ice cubes. If you are using a regular blender I would suggest buying an icecube trey with the smaller cubes because regular blenders are kinda crappy when it comes to crushing up the bigger ones.)
4-5 Coffee Ice Cubes - Strong Coffee - 0 points
3 Tbls. Sugar Free Chocolate syrup - 0 points
1 Cup Almond Milk - 1 point
1/4 cup water - if needed
Whipped topping - 1 point ...... (zero if you use fat free)
1-2 tbls splenda - depending on how sweet you want it
Total points value - 2 points plus!!!
1. Brew Coffee Stronger than normal, Let cool and place in ice cube trey. Let freeze
2. Place 4-5 coffee cubes into magic bullet (or blender) .... pour in chocolate syrup, almond milk, and splenda.
3. Blend ingredients together while shaking magic bullet, untill smooth and drinkable. (if using regular blender, blend, turn off, stir.... repeat until smooth and drinkable) If mixture is too thick add water and then continue blending until the right consistency.
4. top with whipped topping, drizzle with a small amount of chocolate syrup.

Sorry no pictures today... I will continue with the food blogs come monday. Its hard to work it in on the weekends..... But I will give you an update about how my day went.
well I went to my weigh in today and with all the extra working out and the eating on track, you know how much I lost?
I gained 2 pounds. yaaay.
But that's ok, I was still in a good mood because I knew I worked hard and next week my efforts will pay off. Although it is disappointing because I know I will most likely lose less next week then I gained this week. blah. I feel smaller though, so that has to count for something.
My leader was trying to persuade me to work for weight watchers again. I told her I may be interested but I was nervous about running my own meeting. She said that I could start out as a receptionist, which seemed less threatening so I told her she could forward my contact information to her manager. we will see what happens.
Anyway, I made a decision that I was not going to blow all of my weekly points on Saturday and Sunday like I normally do. Using all of my weekly points durring the weekend could be a reason why I have not been losing.
I went out with my husband tonight. We went out to dinner and the movies. We have not eaten at Applebee's in a long long time, almost two years. We had gone a few times before but I always found the weight watchers items to be bland and boring and the other things had no nutritional info at all which was bad news.
We saw that the Applebee's near us had redone the outside of thier building so we thought maybe they improved the menu as well. We both picked items that were listed either under 550 calories or had the weight watchers icon and then split them.
So I got a Skinny Mojito, which was very good, overpriced for the amount but good and only around 100 calories
Then me and hubby split
The Signature Sirloin w/ garlic herb shrimp
had broccoli with it.... very good!
The Weight Watchers Chipotle lime chicken
had black bean & corn cole slaw and rice.
OMG!!! this was so freakin good. The cole slaw and chicken were so full of flavor and then after I ate it I didn't feel guilty! yay.
Both dishes were 13 points... that is awesome considering most of the entrees at most sit-down restaurants run 20 - 50 points depending on the item.
Hubby really wanted this cookie and ice cream sundae but I told him that it was not a good idea because we did so well during dinner, why mess it up.
I looked up the nutritional info and it ended up being 44 points! Glad we didnt do that to ourselves.
I'm proud of him, he didn't get popcorn at the theater either an he worked out today. That's big for him because he loves movie popcorn and hates working out. lol.
My total points for the day were - 42
My target was 29
So that's 13 points used from my 49 weekly. Not bad, and I plan on not spluging anymore the rest of this week.

5:30am ~ Woke up & realized that my arms and shoulder are extremely sore. Kempo X seems to have really worked my upper body, which is surprising to me because its only punching and no weights. wow.
5:45 ~ make breakfast for hubby and Son
5:50 ~ 2 year old Lyra who normally sleeps until 8am wakes up! This will make it nearly impossible to work out.
6:00 ~ Coffee w/ Splenda, Almond milk & whip w/ sugar free chocolate drizzle
7:00 ~ Breakfast - 3 egg white omelet w/ fresh spinach and mushrooms, Roasted Red pepper seasoning, turkey sausage and reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese.
7:20 ~ Put on Care Bears for Lyra, Put up baby gate to kitchen so she cant get in there and hurt herself. Go out to deck and grab baby gate we don't ever use anymore and put that up between hallway and my room. She can run back and see me, I can hear her while I work out back in my bedroom, we are both happy.
7:30 ~ 30 minutes biggest loser strength and sculpt workout .... Realize my right knee is bothering me so I put on my knee brace which helps.
8:00 ~ check on Lyra, she is fine
8:10 ~ 30 minutes Biggest Loser low impact cardio
9:30 ~ Snack - 1/2 cup fat free greek yogurt, 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries thawed, dash of splenda, a few mixed nuts and dried cranberries, a tiny drizzle of honey
12pm ~ Lunch - 1 cup whole wheat pasta, tossed with 2 Tbls. Thai Peanut Sauce & 1 tsp. black sesame seeds
1 cup Birds eye Steamfresh Asian Veggies
Ate 1/3 baggie of trail mix while fixing lunch
but I counted it, so that is a step in the right direction
2:30 ~ Snack - 1 orange
2 slices turkey lunch meat
1 weight watchers string cheese
4:30 - kids eat dinner and Lyra wants to be like mommy, would not eat anymore food until I took this picture
5:00 ~ Quick dinner before heading to school
1 whole wheat pita
2 slices turkey breast lunch meat
2 tbls spicy red pepper hummus
1 cup Birds Eye Steamfresh Asian veggies
5:20 ~ Starbucks Skinny Caramel latte - No Pic
10:30 ~ snack - 1 cup fresh strawberries
1 serving whipped topping
11:00 ~ ahhh sweet blissful sleep
Points Target : 29

Water: Two 32oz Bottles water
Exercise: 30 min BL strength & sculpt
30 min BL low impact cardio
A good day!
I am super proud of myself for working out even though Lyra woke up early. I would have normally used it as an excuse but instead I made a few adjustments to how I would normally do things and it worked out great.
