Awesome! I love that you do a food journal - it's all about the visuals!! Your meals always look so yummy too!! Who makes the cereal that you eat ? I've never heard of it?

I almost got a mcdonalds cone which is a good standby when your wanting something sweet... but I was at the grocery store and dident want to stop by mcdonalds after going there. Now I just need to keep my portion sizes down. :-)

so jealous of that ice cream cone.. I almost bought waffle cones today but I just couldn't deal with turning over that many things of ice cream to find something vaguely low in calories.. :) Report Inappropriate Comment |


well today I ended up right at the top of my calorie range so no tastey snacks for me after dinner :-( I geuss that is what happens when you overeat at dinner though.... it was so good though, I couldent resist.
Breakfast: Plain Oatmeal w/ splenda, sliced almonds & frozen peaches thawed in the microwave: 236 cal
(a really good combination if you have never tried it)
Lunch: baked sandwich thin w/ turkey, tomato pesto, mozzerella & roasted red peppers...... 1/2 can light progresso chicken noodle soup: 407 cal
Snack: 1 slice strawberry cheese cake: 190 calories
Dinner: 1 & 1/2 servings lean meat loaf, 2 tbls ketchup, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes w/ light margarine, 1/2 cup frozen peas, 1/2 cup broccoli with 1/4 cup cheese sauce. : 891 calories
(OMG I ate too much and I should have not put that extra meat loaf on my plate.... but it was sooooo good!..... I will do much better tomorow :-)..... )
............
Total calories eaten: 1724 ..... dident go over :-)

I just took the peaches in the glass messuring cup and poped them in the microwave by themselves for like 40 seconds... I have a really high power microwave and it really depends how cool or warm you want them.... When I cook the old fashioned oats I take the peaches and throw them in durring the last two minutes of cooking the oats.. you know it takes 5 minutes once you put the oats in the water.... works out well. ~ Jess Report Inappropriate Comment |
