Today, I didn't have a great start, but it was tasty..lol. I had slice of left over pizza from last night.
So for lunch, I choose something a lot better; a chicken patty and a homemade smoothie with no added sugar or honey. It was so good! I put 2 whole oranges, about 1 1/2 of frozen pineapple chunks, a cup of my carrot, kale, brocolli and mango juice, and about 2 cups of water in the blender and when it was done mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!
So I am feeling like I am on a better start then I had been lately. Please keep me in your prayers to stay on the healthy road!
Finish cleaning my room
Make more paper flowers
Finish Emily's birthday card
Stay outside with Noah most of the day. (Today is WONDERFUL!!!)

After the first day I was feeling REALLY nasty..like I would start snapping at people and stuff. So I realized that I need to ease myself on to the fast instead of full force.
I pulled back and started to eat "real" food at lunch as well as Dinner. Breakfast and snacks were either fruit or a fruit smoothie. The last two days I have fallen back to my old habits, but I am hopping back on the wagon and on we go!
I did loose 10lbs though! Yay, me!

Okay, so I started a juice fast today, but I have modified it a bit to what I think would be healthier for me. That way I am not loosing any of the nutrients or fiber. I am also having lean meat dinners with loads of veggies at dinner and a protein shake for breakfast and lunch. I feel like that would be a lot healthier then just plain juice, specially considering that I am doing it clean out my system of the toxins and to loose weight. I am also not going to be doing a lot of exercises, just about 5 minutes on the rebounder a day to keep my lymph system flowing.
I bought a TON of fresh fruits and veggies at the farmer's market today. So I am going to be cutting and peeling and dicing fruits and veggies allllll day! lol! But it will be good for me.
Oh, and I am doing it for 7 days. I am planning on doing this fast once a month and slowly go back to solid foods again, but only healthy foods.

Yup! He went right by my house too. Noah and I sat outside watching as our 4th annual Christmas parade walked by. We sang some Christmas songs with the neighbors, and broke out into Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer after seeing a miniature horse dressed up as Rudolph.
After that I packed up the stroller and bundled up Noah nice and snug (It was soooo COLD today) and headed out towards Santa's Village roughly 2 miles away from us. We had a lot of fun there; Noah got a snowman painted on his face; we saw a man carving a snowman out of ice; we petted sheep, goats, and a calf. After a while outside, we went inside the church which had more things going on and enjoyed some cookies and hot cocoa. Once we were done with the cookies, we went back outside and stood in line to see "Santa". Noah sat nicely on Santa's lap and told him what he wanted for Christmas, a choo-choo, and then we got the chocolate bar and got Noah back in the stroller and headed home. Before we got home we stopped at a pizza place and had dinner. After I got Noah back in the stroller again, all bundled up nicely, I don't think it took long for him to go to sleep...he slept the whole way home, and is still asleep right now.
That was my eventful day.....
Now an update on my goals...and my dad
I lost another couple pounds! YAY! And my dad should be coming home soon. He is, according to the test, cancer free!!!
Thank you all for your prayers.

Well, I didn't really stay very motivated, but through the summer I did loose 11.6lbs! I got the Wii back at my house and have been using it for just about everyday since. I have lost another lb and am so happy! I LOVE the Wii fit program! Right now my favorite is hula hoop and my next favorite is the stepper one. I did the free stepper today for 30 minutes! Thought it would NEVER end! LOL However, I was happy that I stuck with it.
That is obviously the great news...
As for the rest...found out a couple of weeks ago my dad had/has cancer. They operated on Tuesday and were able to remove the mass, though they won't know if they got it before it spread until the tests results are in, and who knows when that is.
The docs say he is recovering well from the surgery and he should be home Sunday or Monday. Which is nice, since then we will have him home a few days before Thanksgiving. That way he will be able to recoop without the holiday stress. ^_^
