Happy 4th of July!

I forgot to blog last night. But all is well. Hanging in there.

For tomorrow:

1. Hug my daughter, who will hopefully be home by then.
2. Keep tracking.

    Hanging in there is good!! I am working on tracking as well. Some days are easier than others. I am trying to establish a routine as to how I go about it, as well as make it non-negotiable. It is just too important. Good to know we are fighting this good fight together!

Day 5

Not an all together successful day, but not too bad either.

I had a terrible headache for most of the day, then had to go to another baseball game this afternoon, so I didn't get much of anything done. I went a little bit over on my calorie intake for the day, but it was because I really needed it. I think my body was a little out of whack from all the heat, and I just couldn't get by on the lower calories today. Nothing I ate was unintentional or mindless. And I did track everything.

End of the month reports are not done. But it is only 9 pm! The beauty of having a home office is that you can work late hours.

Did not exercise. It hurt to move my head all morning!

So hopefully things will be better tomorrow:

1. Swim early in the day, so the day doesn't get away from me!
2. Track everything.
3. Get some office work done!

    I wouldn't worry about going over. Coach Nicole has at least one article here that talks about aiming for good habits 80% of the time. I think when we are actively trying to lose weight we naturally aim a bit higher. It is all about progress not perfection!

Hot. Tired. Cranky. Sore.

Going to bed early. Hope to feel better tomorrow.

1. Track everything I eat.
2. Get end of the month reports done.
3. Some sort of exercise. Maybe not soo intense considering how much my body hurts!

Day 3 already!

So far, so good.

I just don't know why I ever stopped. This really isn't that hard. It is just about being deliberate about what you do and eat.

Tomorrow will be a test. I am going to my son's baseball tournament out of town. I am taking lots of fruit and veggies to snack on (and keep me cool!)

Tomorrow:
1. Track everything I eat (even if it is bad!)
2. Sweat! (That will be easy. It is supposed to be 104!)
3. Make the best decision in a bad situation.

Day 2

Friday, June 29, 2012

Day 2 went well! Still dealing with hunger, but I have had several spaced out healthy snacks that have gotten me through.

I did not do the 15 min strength training that I had planned to do, but I did go to the gym and swim for 30 min! It felt so good.

So, for tomorrow:

1. Track everything I eat.
2. Do some sort of exercise.
3. Clean my office -- I can't let work slide like I did last summer. I have to figure out how to juggle taking care of myself and my family and business.

Enjoy the weekend, and try to stay cool! It was 106 here today, and supposed to be that hot the rest of the weekend.
