No Sleep

This morning at 1am my mother fell down two flights of stairs. We rushed her to the hospital. She was banged up and had a haematoma the size of a goose egg on her head but other than that all is well. I have been up since sunday at 5:45am. We have to watch mom for the next 48 hours. We are blessed that she only suffered minor injuries. I am sure not being able to sleep will catch up with me but for now I am grateful for the strength to carry on.

Full Moon

For the past two nights there has been the most beautiful full moon ever. I sat outside and gazed at the magnificent sphere. I forgot as a kid how I would stare at the moon and wondering how it hangs in the sky and is it really made of cheese. Now as I look up I wondering who else is looking at this beautiful orb . and wondering "how".

Went to be at 8pm last night. I was reading a new murder mystery but suddenly I felt so sleepy. This morning I woke up feeling refreshed...this listening to my body really works!

i wish i could go to bed at 8. i was at school until 10:30, that lets out at 9:45. let my daughter borrow my car and she was late picking me up...no more, not again. it's rough being stranded when you loan out your vehicle. it makes you mad, angry. i was livid. i okay now though. Ready for a Party

This weekend my family has it's annual "HOW I'M DOING PARTY". It is the final party of the summer. We say good bye to all college, boarding and public bound children. We make any last minute store purchases and have a question and answer session, just to make sure we are all on the same page. each year more and more of the children leave. Last year we had 16 children this year we have 9. For me as the aunt I sit proudly looking at the transformation
all the children have undergone. It seems like yesterday that the topic of the day was pampers, nannies and saggy breast. Life marches on.
