These past few weeks, have been really bad for me on the weight loss aspect of things. I didn't just fall off the wagon,it came back and ran me over...again and again and again. I've pretty much been phoning in my efforts...making sure I'm at my weekly live meetings, posting a new song of the day, and writing down how many miles I need to get in.
Ever since we lost power for days, my eating and workout habits have been on a downward spiral, and even though I want to stop it, I just can't. That all changed today though...I stepped back on the scale after avoiding it for weeks, and saw that I had gained 5lbs. I know for some, 5lbs doesn't seem like a lot after weeks of not doing anything, but for someone who was once in Onederland and so close to getting back again, it's a major back step.
There is only one thing left for me to do...get back up, wipe the tire tracks off of me and start again. I took 30 minutes out of my day to sit and plan out a weekly menu with Kernen (tried it before and it worked for me), and we figured out what workout we wanted to do today.
I don't care if I have to start over 100 times (I'm about there I'm sure), I will shed these god awful pounds and I will be in ONEderland again...don't believe me? Check up on me periodically to find out if I'm holding myself accountable or just faking it. Stay tuned!
