I am so sorry and embarrassed! I was catching u on some sparking and read a blog by another dear spark friend who came upon the following link. On that page, it shows the people who have friended you that you have not friended back...your mutual friends, and the people you have friended that have not friended you back (ouch-maybe could've done without that information).
I extend my heartfelt apologies to the dear, dear, people who took the time to friend me and support me in my journey that I was unaware of or failed to respond to. Hopefully, I have rectified those situations and once again...I am sorry. I honestly believed that I had caught up on my sparking after my computer and internet difficulties, but apparently I didn't do as thourough a job as I thought.

I'm not sure how I am doing it. It's not like I had a surplus of hours in my days to begin with, but so far this month I have managed to find time to get in 1550+ minutes of exercise in one form or fashion or another. Over 42 miles of running included in that total. The rest made up of strength training, ab work, stairclimber, yoga or pilates. I'm trying to keep it varied and work the areas that I neglected so badly last year when all I was doing was running. Obviously, to me, this is an important goal....to get really fit. Lose some body fat, tone and increase muscle mass.
It's not easy to find the time and requires some creative scheduling, but I'm going to keep on pushing it. I am actually starting to see some results which is reassuring given the amount of effort and energy it requires. Got 90 minutes in tonight and tomorrow between work and lighting practice, will do 75 mins yoga class and a 4 mile run. Hence, ending this blog here so that I can be up in 7 1/2 hours to eat, pack a lunch and snack, clothes and makeup and get to work by 7AM.....nighty, night all !!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a decent workout in this am. Did a thirty minute run, but was still a bit tight from the run last night. Also did 40 mins of interval strength training...tough class. It's actually an hour class, but with the run beforehand, I had planned to call it quits early and then go to Pilates. Unfortunately, I had nothing left to give after the forty minutes. Did get some shopping done and made a large broccoli slaw salad (with apples, raisins and chicken) for lunch today and dinner tomorrow.
Meeting with my ladies tonight, so I am doing my logging and recording now. Then time to finish the laundry and hop in the shower. Got in all my mileage goal for the month as of this am and will have in my fitness minutes goals by Thursday or Friday at the latest. It's been tough to find time to get it all in, but next month there will be three more days so I'll be able to go from 40-45 miles and from 1500 to 1600 minutes of fitness.

So, since the beginning of the month, I have hit the fitness bandwagon HARD. After slacking off for the better part of the last three months (Nov-Jan), I have been doing a lot of catching up. Well, not that I could really catch up, but I have been putting together a strong fitness program, amasing over 1000 minutes of fitness and 39 miles running so far this month. By the end of last eek, however, I could feel it taking its toll. Not only was I terribly sore, with major aches in my back, but also my stomach was upset and I have a cast iron stomach, so this weekend, besides work and church/social obligations, I kicked back. I even blew my nutrition goals big time on Sunday. Despite all that, I had an EXCELLENT (for me) run tonight after work. My times have been pretty dismal compared to the end of last year, but tonight I got in 4.3 miles in 45 minutes. WOOHOO!!! Tomorrow is my day off, so I have time to get in some extra fitness. Have planned to do 1HR group strength, some Pilates and if my running buddy is interested, I'll do a couple of very slow miles with her (she runs around at 12-13 min mile). Wednesday, I plan to do some stairclimber or hills on the treadmill, since it is bitter cold here again and I need to be working toward the two mile hill, and then Thursday will be another day off. Not sure of my plans for Friday...think I'll see how I feel toward the end of the week and Saturday and Sunday are both days off work, but church this Sunday I do lighting again for the baptisms - 38 of them, so it will be a long day - with a meeting at work before church. Time for bed now though. Got to be up early to get to the center to run before strength class.

I really burned the candle at both ends and the middle this past week. I know that there are many out there who are able to keep up with a harder and longer fitness etc schedule, but this past week I seriously pushed my limits.
Saturday and today, I took a much needed break from working out and tonight am hitting the bed as soon as I type out this blog. My schedule was already packed with work, church (lighting weekend) and a friends play and then taking my sis out for dinner tonight. Add to that the laundry and getting some study done for my women's bible study group and if I had pushed any more onto my plate I would be paying for it darly. Instead, I was a little kind to myself and got some rest and will get more tonight and have a plan in place to hit it hard this week.
