I did pretty poorly monday and tuesday of this week. I binge ate to help me deal with stress. I've been doing pretty well the last part of the week and my goal is to loose 1.5 lbs this week.

In 8 weeks I am going to be walking on the beach in hawaii in my new bikini and I want to look as good in it as possible. I've gained a few pounds back from emotional eating during the stress of midterms, but I'm ready to take it back off, define my muscles and love the way I look. I'm going to measure and weigh in every friday from now until June 12th so my progress is actually posted somewhere. First weigh in tomorrow.

I'm half way to my bodyfat goal. Using the same calculator I originally used, I'm now at 24% I'm doing really well with exercise, but having a little trouble in the eating department. I'm back at college now and eating all my meals in the dining hall. I'm under a lot of pressure and I'm fighting with stress eating. I feel pretty good about my body, getting some muscle definition, but I want to be putting better food in my body.

Here are my goals for 2009, they're ambitious, but I think doable. I've included after them the rewards I plan to give myself. I haven't quite made it to my goal weight yet, but I'm very close (1lb!), so I'm including maintenance goals as well as non weight-related goals.

Exersise Goals:
Reach 22% body fat (current ~26%): new workout clothes
Run a charity 5k: road ID
Run a 5k in 26 min: TBA
Ride an MS bike ride at least 50 miles: new jersey
Sprint triathlon (800 m swim, 13 mile bike, 3 mile run): TBA
August 2: Tri for the cure
August 23: Tri babes sprint triathlon

Maintence Goals
1 month maintenence: $25 at Vermont Liberty Tea Co.
2 month maintenence: $35 at Monroe St. Books
3 month maintenence: massage
4 month maintenence: gold barbell (for my ear piercing)
5 month maintenence: summer clothes, shorts and bikini (!)
6 month maintenence: massage
8 month maintenence (Hawaii): dive day or surf lesson
10 month maintenence: massage
1 year maintenence: spring break vacation somewhere warm

I am so angry and frustrated right now. My parents came to visit for two weeks and I did really well on exercise all but the last four days, I started out eating well, but when we left my place and went traveling it was restaurants three meals a day and try as I might, I gained some weight. I don't really know how much, the scale says six pounds this morning, but I'm hoping some of it is water from the salty restaurant fare. I was so close, just one pound away when they arrived and now, instead of motivated, I feel terrible. I feel alone and depressed and I don't want to get out of bed to go to the gym or take an hour to cook myself something good and healthy. I need a little strength and motivation, but I don't know where to get it. I'm feeling so down that nothing seems to be getting through to me.
