Got my Activity tracker

I got my tracker yesterday. I need to get my boyfriend's help installing it on his computer then I will be on my way. Im also bought the SP calendar and magnet. great tools. I will be back in business soon.

For about the posr 6 months my llife has been in transition. I have moved to Illinois from Texas, living with great boyfriend. I am getting ssi benefits and will get a medicare card in Mrch. I have not seen a doctor since my stroke over 2 years ago. My boyfriend lost 75 pounds by drinking mostly slimfast. I choose to eat real healthy food like veggies and woek into an exercise routine. I ordered the activity tracker online and I should get it soon. I am believing it will make a differece.

Hearing yesterday

Yeasterday was was hearing. I got only a few hours sleep. Not sleeping good this month because of stress. So i gained back weight and bad habits. I walked to the busstop. I doubled checked because it was a new route for me. I easily found the building. One stupid mistake i had my mace on my keychain. I forgot i was going to a federal building. They kept it at the front desk. Got there an hour early. At the hearing all the witnesses favored me. My lawyer said usually 2 out of 3 do. And we had the judge he liked. I got to tell some of my living situation and more details after to my lawyer. In a month or two i will have to see a neurologist to check on my nerve damage. If he says i got it i should get ssd. I feel relieved. Need a few days to chill and relax. Been eating too much comfort food lately. I am proud of myself for riding the bus myself and i think i did good at the hearing.

Foodstamp update

Well i finally got a call late. It was a new guy. I always talked to a women. Told him my situation meeting with dars and lawyer going in front of a judge for me. He asked if i was disabled. I told him i feel i am but i havent been offcially declared and will know in oct. I am sure he is new. He said his boss will deside and i will know in 3 or 4 days.

Feeling stresses

I havent slept very good for a few days and my bp is going up. Making sure i get enough potasium in my diet helps i will find out about my foodstamps tomorrowm i think i will still get them. I may have to buy some sleeping pills to get over this hump.j

    Can you afford bananas? They are a great source of potassium. 1 small or 1/2 of a large. Have you tried a food bank for other items that would allow you enough to buy bananas. We don't qualify for food stamps but we do for a food bank and it's so much help.

    Be careful with sleeping pills. They often cause just as many problems as they help. You might consider something like meditation or even taking melatonin before going to sleeping pills.

Best wishes for tomorrow. Be honest and ask them for help with the roommate situation. Hopefully you'll walk out of there with good things having happened.
