Day 6

Today was good. The weather was beautiful. Had a lot of making up to do from yesterday's migraine. Had a lot of chores to get done. Went and helped out at Mom and Dad's since Dad just got home from the rehab hospital. We have had to redesign their living room to accommodate all of the medical equipment. Was able to get a ride in on my bike as well as a ride with my hubby on the Harley. Got in a lot of steps. All in all it was a good day.

Back to the grind and the Monday-Friday routine tomorrow.

    I remember those horrible days. Not fun. Are you able to tell if migraine was triggered by any new goals? If so, hang in there. It'll get better. If this is a recurring migraine, try to keep a log of migraines & any OTC drugs taken. It'll help to possibly eliminate them. Lots of hugs!!! (And stay away from computers & TVs & cell phones too)

Still going well. No soda this week. Started a jar to put my daily soda money. Don't know just yet what I will but with it. It's Friday and I am tired. See you tomorrow.

Consistency Tour...Day 3

Going strong emoticon Strength training this morning before going out for a full day of shopping and running errands. Drank water emoticon instead of soda. Came home and made dinner. Usually would have picked something up because I didn't feel like cooking after a busy day.

Had a little rest after dinner then went out for a short bike ride. emoticon

I'm tired now but I feel good that I kept my promises to myself.

  


Consistency Tour...Day 2

So far so good. Slept well last night. Got up this morning did some cardio and strength training. Got up and moved more during the day instead of staying glued to my desk. In the afternoon the "I need something sweet" emoticon hit me. I tried to ignore it but it didn't work. The resolution? Took a break, walked emoticon to Fresh and Easy bought dried fruit, walked back to work and ate few pieces. Sweet craving nixed!

So the tour is on it's way and going well. Today was also day two without my daily diet soda emoticon at lunch. I know that doesn't sound like much but for me it's huge.

I have the day off tomorrow which would normally mean no working out. But since the tour is in full swing, the workout will commence. Then off to shopping with Mom.

    What do you mean 'it doesn't sound like much'? Not touching that soda or diet soda especially at work is a BIG deal. At least for me it was. Lol. It was hard at first but I focused on eating healthier first and slowly cutting back. Keep almonds or other nuts in a snack size bags so you only take certain quantity when you get those sweet cravings. Really proud of how you're handling all this. Hooray!! Keep going!
