First of all, the weigh in went well - down to 179.6, so I've lost 10 of the pounds I had regained. Another 6 or so to go to get back to where I was, and then another 6 to get to my goal.
The result was achieved by staying within my calorie range everyday except yesterday, when I was a couple hundred calories high. This was combined with getting in a lot of time on the treadmill desk - 19 hours over the week. I'm going for at least 20 this next week!
I ran the Arizona Road Racers' Summer Series #1 5K yesterday. This was my first real run since getting out of my air cast and using my orthotics. It went pretty well. The foot didn't hurt too much, and I completed the run in 32:20. This gives me hope that I will be able to run a sub-30 minute one this summer. There are five events in the summer series - four 5Ks and one 4 miler (on July 4th). So I'll have several opportunities to get under the 30 minute mark.
Finally, I thought I would show you this little fellow who was kind enough to pay us a visit. He was on the door frame of the side door into the garage. Scooped him up and put him in the wash behind the house, so hopefully he won't be back.
