I have been on Spark People for 1,138 days today. According to the Tracker I have Logged On for 1,000 Days in a row. I didn't realize at first that you were supposed to Spin The Wheel every day.
In those 1,138 days I have made 12,720 posts on the Message Boards.
I have Logged 122,387 Fitness Minutes, including over 700 Curves Workouts.
I have earned a total of 122,336 Spark Points.
I have Walked at least 10 minutes a day for 460 Days in a row (it is really more than that, but I didn't keep track of the days in the beginning). That is a total of over 4,259 miles, according to the Fitness Tracker. I am on my third pair of Skechers!!
I have 'Met' over 300 New Spark Friends, plus the Friends that I have made at Curves, and you have all become a Huge Part of my Life. You are often in my Prayers and I think of you even when I am not On-Line.
I may have joined Spark People and Curves to get healthy and lose weight. But the Friends and Knowledge I have GAINED are PRICELESS!

Well, no luck on Photos yet, but I am hoping to get some from the "Official" website in the next few days. If you are not familiar with it, Color Me Rad Runs are similar to other Color Runs around the country. You start off wearing White Clothes, and at various points along the 5K Route, Volunteers throw or spray you with Colored cornstarch. I started out in White Jeans, a White Shirt, A White Cowboy Hat, and even White Sunglasses.
I had a lot of Fun, even though the Race was scheduled to start at 9:00 and I didn't actually get to start until 9:45. Once we got started, it wasn't bad, in spite of the 90+ degree heat. There was just enough breeze to keep it fairly comfortable. I do wish that there had been cold - or at least Cool - water available during the Walk. They did have some small bottles of warm water about half way through, and then some more warm water bottles at the Finish Line.
A couple of things that I heard are worth repeating...A young Father passed me along the way and he was carrying his Daughter on his shoulders. As he walked by I heard him say "When you get tired of being carried, let me know and you can walk for awhile."
I walked past 2 women who had stopped to rest under one of the few shade trees along the route. As I went by, one of them told her Friend, "First, you have to Stop saying what you "Can't" do and focus on what you Can Do".
When I got home my Son took one look at me and said "I need to run some errands this afternoon, but not until you get cleaned up."
One thing that I am REALLY glad that I did was putting a Bedsheet over the Car Seat before I went to the race. The sheet will never be the same, but at least my Car Seat is still the original color.

Hello!! Do you know Me? If you don't, then you should.
I am One Pound of Fat. And I am the HAPPIEST Pound of Fat you will ever meet.
Want to know Why?
No one ever wants to lose me. I am Only One Pound! Everyone wants to lose 10, or 20, or FIFTY Pounds of Fat. NEVER Only One!
So, I just stick around and keep you fat. Then, after awhile I bring in some Friends. Just One at a time. You don't notice it. That is until 'Overnite' I've grown into 20 or 30 or 100 pounds!!
Yes, it is FUN to be "Just One Pound Of Fat" left to do as I please.
So, when you Weigh In, just keep right on saying "Oh, I ONLY lost One Pound of Fat."
For you see, if you do this, you encourage others to keep me around too because they will think I am not Worth losing.
And I just LOVE being around You. Around Your Legs, Your Arms, Your Chin. EVERY Part of You!!
After All, I am JUST ONE POUND OF FAT!!!
