I went to have my hair cut yesterday and as usual I sat in the chair looking at my stylist through the mirror while we talked. Then I got a glimpse of myself and TOTALLY lost track of what I was saying! I notice for the first time that my face has become thinner. I have "square" shaped face (which I really don't like I think it makes me look like a football player but that is another blog) and I saw my cheek bones and my nose is smaller. I am so happy with the changes in my body but I really want more. Is that wrong? I think I look the same just in a smaller size. I want to look different, as in toned and maybe even sculpted.
I have come a long way with my eating habits. I even spent all weekend last weekend out of town, eating out for every meal and only once went over my calories and that was only by about 40! I have gotten into a routine with cardio and I love my treadmill for the first time since I bought it 5 years ago! I know in order for me to reach my final goals I need to do more strength so I think I am going to try to concentrate in June to strength training. Maybe join a gym where I can have more access to free weights and weight machines. Make that a habit like getting up early and jumping on the treadmill has become.
So there I told you what my June goal has become so I expect everyone that reads this to hold me accountable! Go ahead and view my exercise log or add a comment asking me about it and if you don't start seeing some strength in there. Give me a kick in the behind!
