I've decided to get back to using Sparkpeople to get myself back on track of being healthier and feeling more confident with my appearance. during 2009 to 2010 I had lost about 15 lbs but i've gained 10 back during this past winter 2010. just lost all motivation to exercise and eating right. i also had hurt my back so that also impacted the intensity of my workouts.

i need accountability now to get me focused. I'm gonna try to do my best to stay consistent with the tracking but no guarantees :)

well i still am at what i started at several years ago but today i'm changing it. i have a wedding to go to in june and i want to look good for my husband and for myself as well. today i am starting a new plan of daily workouts and watching my eating. I will probably eat the same ole things daily for breakfast and lunch since i do much better on a routine. after i post this blog i will be working on my "plan" for the next 3 months. I've already recruited my best friend to be my cheerleader cuz i know i will need it. wish me luck!

I know I went missing for a while but I do still come in spark occasionally due to my spark buddy and keeping track of my weight loss. Since I started my new goal on May 30th, I've lost 11 lbs and 2 inches. whoo hoo! I've been going to the gym everyday cuz that's the only way I'm doing to get my daily dose of exercise like recommended. I've cut way back on soda and my portion intake although I have some cheat days, lol. The last few days I haven't been eating good cuz when i get tired or bored i want to eat and i brought money with me to work (bad idea!!) so i spent it all on junk outta the vending no more of that! gotta come to work broke so it don't happen again, lol.

my goal is to get to 130 by sept 1st however i'll settle for 140 by then. i am definitely aiming for 130 but i won't beat myself up for not getting to 130. i'll be happy with being as close to it as possible. so i got 29 more lbs to go and 8 weeks to go. so gotta lose about 3 1/2 lbs a week..............yea right! lol. i actually didn't get to do my weighin this week so i could actually have lost more than i have so far. my last official weighin was 160 but i know i got down to 159 a couple days later so it's possible that i'm in that 157-159 range..........we'll find out soon.

I have no control over my eating on the weekends, like I said before when the weekend comes around I have absolutely no routine so I just fall off the bandwagon. I'm gonna have to tell my hubby to watch over me on the weekends even I bite his head off, lol. We went to family's house for late easter dinner on saturday and ate whatever I wanted and same goes for sunday. Today I am going to write a meal plan for my weekends and use that to keep my butt in gear. I was talking to hubby about how badly I ate this weekend and he said it's too early to be cheating on foods and he's RIGHT. it is too early since I am still trying to control my eating and etc. I'm gonna be one B*tchy lady for a while since I'll be cutting myself off from cheating. I am going to just take it 1 week at a time rather than setting a longer term goal for that. I am also going to go to the gym 5 days a week for a month. I do strength training 3 days a week and then I do some cardio but I have limited time in the mornings so I'm going to make Tuesday and Thursdays my cardio days so that way I get enough cardio. I want to incorporate my weekends into my workout but my weekends are too hard to set up a time to get to the gym due to whatever happens friday nights since it's the last day of the week, lol. I usually use my weekends for cleaning my house and laundry too so that takes up most of my time.

but anyways! my goal for the week is write a meal plan for Saturday and Sunday. No cheating for the week and work out 5 days a week.

    Ugh...Lizzy I am SO there with you about the weekends! Both Travis and I struggle with that. It's like our "secret" days we never tell SP about...just pigged out in the past on weekends. Recently, it's cut down but not like it should be. Start SMALL...order salads when you go out on the wkends (but still allow yourself to go out). Plus, if someone orders healthy stuff WITH you, it's tons easier. Stick with it...we're in the same boat!

I resisted my temptation for a can of soda whoo hoo! I went to the lunch room and was about to put my dollar in the machine but then I thought about my calorie intake and my goal that I'm trying to acheive and how buying that soda will delay it. so i didn't buy it. yay!

At first I wanted to buy it cuz I am getting bored of water (I've dranked ALOOOOOOOOOT water this week) and I just wanted something different to taste. But I'll deal with it.
