Received my drops in the post this morning, perfect timing for a weekend of loading (eating a LOT)
Boy oh boy, you get so used to watching portion sizes, counting calories, fat, carbs, etc that when you can actually eat what you want without restriction it is hard to do!!
I ended up just under 2500 calories, which is 1000 over my upper range.
Carbs in range as was protein, but OMG 3 times as much fat than is recommended by SP, but what is recommended while at the very beginning of HCG (only two days)
So I get to do it all over again tomorrow and then the "real work" begins!

YESTERDAY, TODAY, TOMORROW
There are two days in every week about which we should not worry.
Two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension.
One of these days is yesterday with its mistakes and cares,
Its faults and blunders, Its aches and pains.
Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control.
All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday.
We cannot undo a single act we performed.
We cannot erase a single word we said. Yesterday is gone.
The other day we should not worry about is tomorrow.
With its possible adversities, Its burdens,
Its large promise and poor performance.
Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control.
Tomorrow's Sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds,
but it will rise.
Until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet unborn.
This just leaves only one day . . . Today.
Any person can fight the battles of just one day.
It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternity's -
yesterday and tomorrow that we break down.
It is not the experience of today that drives people mad.
It is the remorse or bitterness for something which happened yesterday
and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us therefore live but one day at a time.

Had a doctors appointment this morning to check on my asthma.
Lung capacity has improved, not perfect yet, but much better than the 50% lung capacity last year!
She said it is about a 1/3 down on what it "should be", my reading was 300 where it ideally should be 415.
Oh well it is going in the right direction, stopping smoking and exercising is helping for sure. Still working on shifting the regained weight though and it has been over a year since I stopped.
She's pleased that my weight is going down, although very slowly right now and of course very pleased with the exercise routine.
As always a doctor or nurse gets worried when they check my blood pressure as it is always on the low side, and they do it twice to be sure lol, but it is normal for me, doesn't cause any problems.
Then this afternoon had the dentist....argghhhhh
I am having to see a hygienist due to gum recession and bone loss which is not helping my teeth stay in!
With this it also causes gum disease so I am having to have specialist cleaning which goes below the gum line...not pleasant, but she is good and she although she hasn't gone "deep" she says if needed I can have injections to numb the gums when that time comes...oh joy!
However, if I want to keep my teeth then I have to keep it up for the next few months.
I finally succumbed to the "hype" of the HCG diet and ordered some drops, just to try it out and see what happens..anything to get off this darn plateau...I am determined to get back to my lowest weight of last year one way or another....and it's only for a month so can't do that much harm, if any.
Hopefully the drops will come by the end of the week so I can get started on a new month.
Success is a journey, not a destination.
Focus on the process.

We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned,
so as to have the life that is waiting for us.
The old skin has to be shed before the new one can come.

Today is Day 1 of the Fall 5% Challenge, I am back with the CareBear team for what I think is the 4-5th time, maybe more lol
I am starting today at 151 pounds, which is actually heavier than I ended the previous challenge!
Anyway, 5% is 7.5 pounds in 8 weeks, but I am aiming for 10 pounds, which is 1.25 on average per week, so it is doable.
Will take measurements next week as I prefer to do those on the 1st of the month, inches are actually more important than pounds for me, so we'll see how that goes too.
Best of wishes to all on the challenge and to everyone else whatever plan you are following.
