DDR challenge day 2/42

okay.... so I got started later than I planned. It can't be helped. I thought of putting this off until June because I have so much to do with finals coming up and my Nursing Assistant Certification the last of May.

I started on Friday. Missed Saturday. But I'm going to do some more tonight. I'm on workout mode. I figure I can burn 3500 calories (or one lb) per week. I have it divide up into 500 calories per day. And on the advanced settings it is not hard to reach 500 calories. I average about 20 calories a song. So it doesn't take that long.

I figure that this is a good place to record my progress. Even though I am a couple days behind. Stupid Fatal Frame distracted me.... ;p

Well I'm off to DDR for a bit, then do a Cardio lab for Biology 2022. It should be fun!

Well....I guess I should make a confession. I got lazy. REALLY REALLY Lazy. And I honestly don't have a good excuse. I'm sorry. :( I find it is really easy for me to forget my sparkpeople page. But yet I manage to check my Writerscafe and Myspace pages daily. Maybe I have to many social networking sites. Or maybe I just have more personal friends on the other 2 pages.

Anyway I haven't been on sparkpeople since January. I slacked off a bit in exercising as well. I did make an attempt to walk to school though. And thats a pretty trying walk. Up hills, and down hills, and fighting off dogs (okay the last one may be a bit of a stretch) The route from my home to college is about a 20 minute walk depending on how fast I go. It took 20 minutes one way (up hill) and 15 minutes the other (down hill) I was also carrying a backpack that weighs EASILY 10-15 lbs. So that was good.

I played some dance dance, and went for a walk around the golf course, and I think there was even a raquette ball excursion in there somewhere. I walk almost daily. And I haven't gained any weight, but I haven't lost any either.

However, I have motivation. My little sister is getting married in October. And I'm moving in August. So I'm aiming to have most of the weight shed by the time I move, and finish off the last few pounds after I move.

Okay, well we will see. Go me...

HAHA sorry, I just couldn't think of a title for this one. Anyway its roughly 5 am. I'm wide awake, which is sad for someone who on average gets 12 hours of sleep a day. But I'm up, and working out. There is no one else awake, and so it makes the perfect time cause no one will accidentally walk in on me. ^_^

I learned today, that the folks who did Wii Sports did a 10 week trial thing, and on average, playing 25 minutes of Wii Tennis will burn about 100 some odd calories. That is fantastic! So after working through my Coach Nicole stuff (which I did 2 butt blasters... my poor buns) I decided to give it a try.

Now, what I find funny about getting your wii age, is that a lot of it has to do with Hand/Eye cordination. And the Wii takes some getting use to. So when I did my fitness age and got 49, I had to laugh. It took me a few missed balls to figure out just how to hit them. HAHA so I take that with a grain of salt. But it was cute.

I joined the Gamersfit team, and I'm hoping to get into one of the group challenges for next week. Of course the week after that I'm off to Arizona for a funeral... -_-....

Anyway I thought I would share that. Its saturday and I've burn 740ish calories, out of 1300. So I'm going to have to play about 4 songs on Dance Dance to catch up and make this weeks goal. Thats what I get for taking Tuesday and Thursday off and not doing anything... boo on me.

Well friends, I'm off to get some water, and enjoy my well earned rest!

    LOl. Nice interesting title, but when your up that early in the morning I guess youcan get away with it. I am interested on how you do on the Gamers Fit Challenges. Keep up the great work.

OMG! I have been randomly doing Coach Nicole's workouts that are on sparkpeople, and I tried the butt-blaster tonight... Now, normally I can keep up with Nicole and it doesn't bother me too much, but this butt-blaster kicked my butt... no pun intended.

I was tired, and couldn't wait for the stinking 6 minutes to be over... I feel so fat and out of shape now... ;p. Nah, I'm just playing. Anyway it was a great little work out for my buns. They are one of my problem spots. So I feel pretty good working them. They are most definatly loving the chair right now.... :p

Well I'm off to do the 15 minute ab work out and then the 15 minute ball workout. And if I have it in me I might try the 12 minute Pilates work out.

Oh yeah! I have a yearly goal for 2008 to workout for 1,413 minutes. I also made a New Years resolution to learn 360 new Japanese words.

The word of the day is: Hidorashi= thats mean!

    Wow. I see your making an effort to do the work outs. Way to go. Feels good after your done but not the following day. Good luck with you goals and learning Japaniese. I guess I might want to learn some of that language too.
