    Cuuuute shorts!
Congrats on the weight loss! emoticon
And thanks for the new blender idea. I've been brainstorming good rewards for myself. 2 days ago I made 'healthy brownies', which used a blender to mix everything (including prunes), and the poor thing worked so hard it started to heat up the ingredients... emoticon
Good luck! I don't see enough weight left to loose to reach your 50 pound goal, but you probably just wear it well ;)

I am so excited!! It is actually working this time, this site has been amazing for me. I am doing this the healthy way and its WORKING and I'm not feeling terrible and tired or deprived which is big!! One big thing is I'm not making excuses for not working out or eating bad because I cant wait to put it on the site and prove that I'm doing it. I'm also excited because not only is it effecting me it is my family not in a big way because they do not need to lose weight but because of me and my choices they are trying and eating healthier options and trying healthier recipes with me which is making me feel good that in some little way they are eating better!Well I'm off work today so I am going to clean the house and workout really heard today so I can keep the pounds falling off! I hope everyone has a great day and thanks everyone for the support that has got me this far and that will get me to my goal! Spark on!

Yeah! Way to go. And the key - ohmygoodness this is so important - is to do it HEALTHY! I just replied to a post on the Panic Button Message Board from a gal who has cravings. She was eating almost no protein, trying to do it all with veggies! Been there, done that! OMG, cravings are guaranteed! Healthy and gradual is the best way. Now, I could do without the scale rebounds in between, but I am used to them at this point. The general trend is down, down, down. Spark ON!

Going to do some research!! (imput would be great!)

Monday, March 05, 2012

Ok so I try to change my workout every month so it doesn't get boring. My first month working out I did a kickboxing video, elliptical and a easy strength routine the site gave me. Second month working out I did zumba, elliptical, something the treadmill, and a intermediate strength routine from the site. It's time for me to change it up again but I'm not sure to what I really liked the kickboxing and the zumba was pretty good to I just do not want to get bored and quit. I workout at home so workout dvds or games for xbox kinect or wii is what I'm looking for so ideas would be great. I am going to do some research tonight and see what i can find! hope everyone has a great night!!

You could always check out your nearest rec centre run by the city! - I find they're cheaper than a gym. I'm currently taking a buns and bellies class and deep water aquafit (it's approx $40 for 12 classes). It's so much fun! I tried Zumba and Zumba Circuit Training and they are super fun workouts too! When I'm signed up for something and expected to be there, I know I wont talk myself out of it. I tried the wii thing, and I have an elliptical and I just find excuses to use it! Good luck to you!!

I think you can get used copies of games on Amazon and places like that for a fairly reasonable price. My husband lives on our XBox so we always have the Live part activated. I'll just play as him so I can play with you! The fun thing about it is that we can play AND hear each other through the speakers! This way you can swear at me in person if you'd like. :o)

If you can borrow The Spark book from the library, I would highly recommend doing so. It's excellent AND you get SparkPoints for completing chapters, etc. It's extremely motivating and well written.

I borrowed Jillian Michaels 6 Week Abs on DVD from the library. I have it until the 21st and will opt to renew it. I haven't started doing it yet since my body is just growing more accustomed to her style of training with Body Revolution. You'll have to let me know if your library offers those types of options!

I'm so grateful for SP! If it wasn't for this site, I wouldn't be so motivated on this journey!

Thanks! I don't have kinect sports but I'm going to look into getting it and I think I need to update my live thing but I'll let you know when I do and we can play that would be fun!! That's a good idea about the library I'm gonna look into that to! This is why emoticon people have such great ideas and advise :)

Oooh you have a Kinect?! Do you have Kinect Sports? What about XBox Live? I'm thinking we might have to play each other! A rousing game of ping pong or some of the others? You can really work up a sweat playing those games!

If your library carries DVDs and games, I would highly suggest just typing in DVDs that you're interested in doing. That's how I got some of my workout DVDs - then you can borrow them for two weeks or a month (if they allow renewals) and move to the next thing.

I am so excited! I have lost 15 pounds in two months plus a jeans size :)!! I am really happy with how I am doing I am sleeping better, feeling better, and looking better not much more I could ask for just two months in! I'm well on my way to meeting my summertime goal on 25 pounds by the end of May and my long term goal of 53 pounds in a year. I'm so proud of myself for doing this the right way and being able to stick to it. I'm still having a hard time with the guilt when I splurge But I am dealing with it and I'm a work in progress so that's alright. I can not wait til I am at my healthy weight but I am surprisingly not hating the journey to a new healthy me! I'm out Sparker's have a great day!!!!

That's totally awesome! I'm super proud of you!!

I have to say, I'm a little nervous about getting on the scale next week (Tuesday) to see the results of what I have accomplished this week. I'm shooting for 2 pounds a week minimum. Hopefully I'll make it!

Keep up the excellent work!! You're doing great!!

P.S. Don't feel guilty about the splurge - just try to keep them contained and not overindulge too much. Sometimes that type of thing can actually be GOOD for you!

Congratulations on the loss! One pound at a time is the healthy way to do it and I'm told that if it's a steady decrease, you're more apt to keep the weight off for good!

It's great to have goals and I'm super excited to get to know you better and help you stay focused! Way to go! Keep up the great work!!

Congratulations - step after step in the right direction! Good thing to have mini-goals as well so you can focus on the small scale. Otherwise it can be overwhelming! Keep Sparking! It won't be Monday for long ...
