I have been having a blast doing the pilates with the DVD's I rented from the public library. It is amazing what you will find for exercise at the library.
The same old walking thing doesn't have to be the main exercise for me. many people get in shape by doing pilates and yoga, and of course, watching their food intake!
I love going down to the library just to see how much they have for different exercises. It never ceases to amaze me what I come home with or what I put on hold if it is not available quite yet.
The new exercise thing I have found out is T-Tapp and it is not tap dancing or anything like that, it is like pilates. I haven't got too far into it yet but it seems to look like it could be really beneficial if done consistently!
I like the Mari Winsor pilates because she seems to work with a lot of stars in Hollywood, and, i have her DVD for legs and I do that a lot and you feel the burn in the legs big time with that when you are done, even the first time all the way through every time. You just don't really 'get used to it'. It is only like 10 minutes on each side working each leg. it is a riot though and it really challenges the body. I don't do some of the exercises (like only 2) on the leg DVD because it is for more advanced people who are not as heavy as I am. I enjoy it but I don't try to do something which I know is impossible for me.
