Reminiscing about my lost cat.

Here are some photos of my lost cat that still never returned.
Her name is Patches.
My husband, daughter and I all miss her so much!
She has been gone for about 2 weeks now although I know that is not necessarily long for a cat.
I just wanted to do a blog about her.

    I think that it is a good idea to get her story and picture out there. The more people who see it, the better chance someone will recognize the kitty. I had an old calico wander up years ago and I could tell that she had not been a "stray" for long, but no amount of posting pictures, calling pounds/vets, etc led me to her family. She lived out the last few years of her life happy enough at my house, but I still think about the family that must have been wanting her to come back home from time to time. I hope your kitty finds her way back home.

    I certainly hope Patches comes home very soon!! She is beautiful. She looks so much like our Kellie, who is 13 1/2 now. Cats are so smart and she knows how much you love her.. that will help bring her back to her wonderful family! emoticon

    She is a beautiful cat. I am sorry that she hasn't come back yet I know how tough it is. One time when I was a kid my cat went missing and I was devastated. After a couple of weeks she suddenly came back. She looked well taken care and wasn't starving so we figure someone must have taken her in and had been feeding her we were just so happy to get her back. I hope Patches finds her way back to you also. emoticon emoticon

Exercise galore today!

I have been having a blast doing the pilates with the DVD's I rented from the public library. It is amazing what you will find for exercise at the library.

The same old walking thing doesn't have to be the main exercise for me. many people get in shape by doing pilates and yoga, and of course, watching their food intake!

I love going down to the library just to see how much they have for different exercises. It never ceases to amaze me what I come home with or what I put on hold if it is not available quite yet.

The new exercise thing I have found out is T-Tapp and it is not tap dancing or anything like that, it is like pilates. I haven't got too far into it yet but it seems to look like it could be really beneficial if done consistently!

I like the Mari Winsor pilates because she seems to work with a lot of stars in Hollywood, and, i have her DVD for legs and I do that a lot and you feel the burn in the legs big time with that when you are done, even the first time all the way through every time. You just don't really 'get used to it'. It is only like 10 minutes on each side working each leg. it is a riot though and it really challenges the body. I don't do some of the exercises (like only 2) on the leg DVD because it is for more advanced people who are not as heavy as I am. I enjoy it but I don't try to do something which I know is impossible for me.

    Great attitude! I have never tried yoga or pilates, though I have been interested. I will have to try the library. Sometimes I get bored with my walk, but for the most part it is my staple for everyday. It relaxes me and gets me outside. I always do better the more time I can spend outside. And that's for any weather! Keep up the good work! You are emoticon

spark friends

I went through my spark friends and i am finding a lot of them haven't blogged in quite some time and I think they must have lost their spark. I felt so bad so many people gave up. Hopefully, they have been participating without blogging. I know a lot of people don't like to blog all the time. I never checked their spark page to see if anybody has commented on it to show they have been active.
I hate to see anybody fail!
I will keep checking back and maybe I can write on their page and get their spark relit!

    I am the same as Healthynow4me, I don't always blog but I participate regularly usually daily. A lot of the time I just can't think of anything to write on the blog so I just skip it.

I think you have a great idea of writing on their page to try to re-light their spark. emoticon

    I rarely blog, but I participate regularly, usually daily. Sometimes I skip a day. I will admit my Spark has been waning, but I am working on getting it going again. I lost 2 this week and have challenged myself to lose every week for the month of November with new socks being my reward. I wear expensive socks and have not been able to afford to replace my old holey ones, so this will be my added incentive for November! Thanks for your concern! You are a good friend! I just never know what to write in a blog. emoticon

Today I got my walk in and now I just have Pilates on my DVD's to do!
I love Pilates, you feel so good after you are done. (you feel like you got such a good workout)!

I am feeling so positive today!
I am hoping I can stay within the calorie range today and all week actually, then I will set longer goals!
One day at a time for me at this point is all I can do right now!
