Day 79 - Cardio X
I kept my HR up for 80% of this workout. I still didn't burn many calories but the workout was good.
Tomorrow is "the big day". I have to take an earlier train so I'm modifying my workout. I know...don't freak out. I'm actually not doing my P90X workout tomorrow. There I said it. If I wanted to do my P90X workout I would have to get up at 3:15 and that's just not happening. So instead I'm going to ride my recumbent and do some stretches. I might make up the workout on Saturday but not going to push it. The weather is supposed to be great so I want to ride my bike outside. The workout I'm skipping is back and biceps so it won't interfere with my riding. Decisions....I'll have to see how I feel on Saturday.
I'm off to get my stuff ready for tomorrow. Have a great night!
It's another beautiful sunny day. You don't want to go out without a coat but the sun feels good on my face.
Day 78 - Chest, Shoulders & Triceps and ARX
LOVE this workout too. All the different kinds of push-ups and shoulder raises.
I've got a couple of shout-outs today. These people have made me stop and think and take some action.
Anepanalipti - At least I think that is your SP name. Thank you for your vlog on All or Nothing. I've been going All or Nothing for so long. I don't know how to stop. I've realized how I got there. I just don't know how to come off of it. I look forward to many more of your blogs.
Sunny99 - Thank you for opening me up to new smoothie combinations. I've been eating the same smoothie for months. I love my combo so I was afraid to try it. Today I tried soymilk, flax meal, soaked dates, spinach, green grapes, frozen banana and oranges. I needed to freeze the oranges though because this was more like a drink. I can now experiment with different flavors.
Giantpanda - You have no idea what your friendship means to me. You talked to me about how I may not need to workout like I do. I am fit and healthy so I may not need to go balls to the wall 60-90 minutes a day to maintain my health. Thank you for making me really think about what I need to and don't need to do.
Sparkpeople is a great place to meet people who motivate you and help you in so many ways. I'm so thankful and grateful for an environment where I'm not judged or held to a standard that is impossible to meet.
The sun is shinning. It is a cold but beautiful day. The sun brings a smile to my face. If only it were warmer and I was doing this my smile would look like this LMAO!! Seriously, it's a really beautiful day. My curtains are open and two plants are soaking up some rays.
Day 76 - Kenpo X
I want this workout to be longer. I love kickboxing and this just gets me started. When Tony says he got his second wind I feel exactly the same way. I just want to keep going.
Day 77 - X Stretch
I did this workout today. I contemplated another rest day but I really needed to stretch out my back and legs. So I did the X Stretch and loved it.
I've been diving myself crazy with what my next workout will be. I need to just see what life gives me in other areas and then figure it out.
I made Paul some blueberry breakfast muffins. He really liked them. I got the recipe from my favorite vegan food blog. ohsheglows.com/page/3/ They weren't too sweet which I liked.

Why do people resist a vegan diet when there are so many reports out there showing it to be a benefit in fighting cancer and a lot of diseases? My own husband is fighting some medical issues and refuses to see the benefits of eating vegan. He always says "I can't". I sometimes get so frustrated with him but then remember that he hasn't read anything on the topic. He's only heard me talk about it for the last 4 years. He has made a lot of progress in the last 4 years too. I don't want to sell him short. Maybe after talking with the doctor next month he will be willing to take further steps in getting healthy. Anyway, the article is just something to think about. I'm off to do a bit more research before my interview Tuesday.
I hope you all had a great Thursday. My boss is on vacation until April 4. This makes for very slow days. I'm using this down time to clean up and out my desk. I guess that's wishful planning or something. Anyway, it was a quiet day at the office.
Day 75 - Core Synergistics
I wasn't planning on this workout today. I thought it was Kenpo X. This morning was the first day of my period so I was so weak and just didn't feel all that motivated to do push-ups. But I did them...not all of them but I pushed through as many as I could. I do like this workout though.
Paul is on vacation next week. He will be remodeling our spare bedroom. I can't wait to see the green walls and the hardwood floors. The hardest part for me will be figuring out furniture. It is a clean slate of sorts. It used to be my workout room but now it's just my computer room. What do I want this room to be? I want to get a much smaller desk. If I don't have all that space I can't keep a bunch of crap. I have a laptop, printer network stuff (vonage box, cable modem, router and phone). I also thought about getting a daybed or futon so that when I kick Paul out of bed for snoring he will have someplace to sleep. I can also use it as a reading/sitting room. UGH!! This is the hardest part for me. Maybe I'll start with a rug and build around that. Anyone have any ideas? I'll post pics when he is finished.
First the job update. I MADE IT TO ROUND 3!!!! You can picture me jumping up and down here. Now what sucks is I have to wait until Tuesday. One of the professionals is coming into town just to meet me and one other person and the soonest it can happen is Tuesday. UGH! The waiting is the hardest part. But I started my day off right.
Day 74 - Yoga X
Namaste people. I was all ready for some smooth yoga this morning. I loved it. And you know what? I got into Crane. It might have only been for a few seconds but my toes were off the floor and I was balancing on my hands. YAY me!!
Tonight's dinner was a green smoothie. Those always make me happy. So now I'm off to clean up the kitchen. Have a great night!
