I been eating too much!

I recently had my father move in with me, my daughter move home, and started helping my ill sister with getting medical help. All of this while working full time.... I realized a couple of weeks ago that this has resulted in me not taking care of myself and eating too much. I've started going the wrong direction on the scale! Yikes. But now that I've noticed my clothes getting tighter and my energy levels are down, I can reverse the trend and start done something about it! I've created a menu for the week, gone grocery shopping, and walked 2 days in a row. It's time to nip this in the bud before it gets to out of control!

Another day of feeling tired and slow. It's got to be allergies. I feel fine other than I want to sleep. Hopefully whatever is in the air will move on quickly!

    emoticon I saw on a show that said that you should wash before going to bed to get the pollen off your skin and hair.

  Maybe its just the weather - ours is warm then cold then humid then anything but summer. Sometimes just taking a short walk helps.

Not as groggy today, but still feeling the allergys. On a good note, I have stayed within my calories for 2 days and am feeling good about it. I'm wearing my pedometer and trying to work up to 10000 steps a day. I didn't walk this morning, but plan to go tonight.

I think it must be the weather and allergies. Molds are high. Last night I walked nearly 2 miles with a neighbor in the heat. I don't normally walk when the temps are in the high 90's, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I slept though the night but woke up with an allergy headache. I should have taken sudafed before bed, but forgot. I got up this morning and walked around the block with the dog anyway (he's old and walks slowly). Now at work I feel I could easily take a mid morning nap! I bet I sleep good tonight.

Finally got the courage to weigh myself this morning. What I saw has prompted me to get back to proper eating and exercise. I knew I was snacking more than I should and eating out more than I should, and I knew that I was putting some weight on by the tightness of my jeans, and I knew that once I weighed myself, I'd really have get I kept conveniently forgetting to do it. But it's done now and I'm determined to do something about it. So I've started recording my food in SP again, I will start walking again during lunch and I will start drinking 8 glasses of water a day, and I will limit my fast food to once a week again. I can't wait to start feeling better and get these extra pounds back off!

    Lord, all the glory is yours alone. Littledutch asked for encouragement so I pray in agreement with her. Help her to know your with her no matter the time or place, you will always be with her.
