Yesterday was not a SP day. It was emotional for reasons I don't need to get into and I did not eat well. Also needed to spend my lunch break doing errands and had a meeting for work in the evening.
Today will be better. I'm tired, but I'm going to go to the gym on lunch. I'm not hungry right now, I ate so much yesterday I think I might still be full, and I'm going to pack a light lunch and lots of fruit and veggies. Maybe soup. I love me some soup.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to go to the gym in the morning with Joe. We don't have many plans for this weekend which could make staying on track harder- I tend to eat more when I'm sitting home doing nothing. But we also need to save money for rent so I don't want to plan too much. if it's nice out, I'm hoping to take Spencer for a walk and play outside with him a bunch. Maybe rake some leaves even though we live in the woods and don't need to do yard work.... it's good exercise and fun for the kids.
Chloe goes to her mom's for the weekend today... hoping she doesn't come home on Sunday reeking like cigarettes from her new stepdad. Ugh.

Oh, but PS- I'm signing Spencer up for Toddler Gymnastics which starts on November 9th I believe, so that is seven weeks at the gym on Saturday mornings. My plan is for Joe and I to take him to the class and then after, drop him off in the babysitting classroom and go work out together in the gym for 30 minutes or an hour. The gymnastics class is from 9-9:45. Hopefully being at the Y already will help us develop a habit of working out every weekend!

Today was decent. Took Chloe to the grocery store after work and went over my budget by a bit but got lots of good stuff. Didn't go to the gym, but took a walk with my class- burnt about 100 calories. I'm going to do some at home strength training after the kids go to bed and might do 15-20 minutes on the trampoline.
My foot has been persistantly cramping on and off all day. I bought some multi-vitamins at the grocery store to start taking and also some sweet potatoes, as they are high in potassium and I enjoy them. They are small so shouldn't be too high in calories, either.
Tomorrow I'll be back in the gym. Right now it's time to go play with the kiddos before bed.

I've found that I'm so much more accountable and motivated when I use SP.com frequently and blog daily, so I'm going to try to start blogging each day (most likely in the evening or in the morning as a recap of the day before if I don't have time in the evening). Right now I'm at 193.6, which is down a bit from yesterday's 195, but still not where I had wanted to be by now. I baked a lot last week (and yesterday) and didn't watch my diet or get enough exercise. But, I'm back on track now and staying put!
Yesterday I counted calories (but forgot my kindle to track) and did okay with the exception of baking toffee blondies and enjoying more than enough. I also went to the gym... without music my workout was mediocre, but I managed to burn 200 cals. I got a cramp in my foot that is still bothering me, so I'm wearing sneakers today and will take some Aleve with me to work.
I am trying to drink 95+ ounces of water each day...didn't quite get there yesterday. Truth be told when I got home from work I kind of forgot my water bottle existed. I've read that people trying to lose weight should try to drink half their body weight in ounces of water each day...for me, right now, that's 96.5 ounces. I usually drink about 70 so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch. I do use low-cal sugar-free drink mixes, that helps... the bottle I'm carrying right now is 33.8 ounces (a liter, I guess) so if I drink 3 full bottles a day I'll be over my goal.
That's all for me for today, I have math homework when I get home that will probably suck up my evening. I hate math!
