Had a good day yesterday. Went off track a bit last night and had a few McDonald's fries from the kids' happy meal and some extra fruit- grapes and strawberries. Also a sugar-free pudding. Could have done much worse than binge on extra fruit though!
I did get to the gym for 20 minutes and took a 30 minute walk with my class. Burnt about 270 calories.
Yesterday I got stuck in the mud right near our house and had to get towed. Had to be towed last Monday, as well- got stuck in snow. Today I'm bringing my son to work and then coming home and picking up my husband and stepdaughter and we are going to go look at a Toyota 4Runner that's for sale. We're bringing the cash so if we like it we can buy it tonight.
My son's coming to work with me today because my husband was being a jerk about having to drive me to work and pick me up since the road is so bad.. even though either way it's 4 trips up the road- either I go to work, come home and pick them up, drive out to town to see the truck, and drive home, OR he drives me to work, drives home, comes to pick me up, and drives home after seeing the truck. He's just a jerk some nights and I didn't feel like arguing.
Anyway, made Spencer's lunch already but have to make mine. Just having a sandwich today... more than likely going out to Applebee's with girls from work tonight although Joe was being a jerk about that too!

Yesterday was great! I came in under my calorie budget by 84 calories, then after I added in the exercise I got I was 370 under. LoseIt! has my calorie budget at 1389 per day and will automatically decrease it as my weight decreases... which is one thing I like. It's a little more specific than SparkPeople which I need right now.
It was soooooo nice outside yesterday! In the afternoon our kids didn't even need coats! We took a 45 minute walk in the morning and a 30 minute one in the afternoon so I counted that (I said I walked at a slow pace since walking with 11 toddlers is pretty slow, haha) and then I jogged/marched in place for about 8 minutes before getting ready for bed. I wanted to do 15 but honestly, my legs were on fire! Not used to this much cardio, lol.
Today I'm going to the gym, then to get the car's oil changed, and then possibly to the playground with my kids. Also gotta start homework, yuck. I half-assed it last week so I gotta do a little better...though this class is not one I care about (Environmental Science).
Right now I'm off to pack lunch. I made mini quiches on Sunday based loosely off a South Beach recipe and I have to try to estimate the calories in each one.
Gonna be another super day! Supposed to be 67 degrees with some thunderstorms.... hope they stay out of my way! lol!

Stupid Daylight Savings Time seems to be affecting me this morning... I just could not get out of bed! It's sooooo cold (27 degrees says the computer!) and dark out still.... I ended up staying in bed until 6 am as opposed to 5 am when I normally get up. I'm going in to work at 8 am today instead of 9 am, but I already made my lunch so I have a little time to kill. I do plan on straigtening my hair, which is crazy this morning, and putting on some makeup for a change, but wanted to type out my blog quickly.
The weekend was okay....ish. My problems are just the weekends and at night. I think I need to start looking on the boards for suggestions about how to handle the temptation these times bring, lol. Yesterday I jogged in place for a while while watching TV...probably did about 15 or 20 minutes total. It was surprisingly fun to be doing something healthy instead of just sitting on the couch and there's really no reason I can't squeeze in some cardio every day just by jogging in place or doing jumping jacks or something while watching TV.
I think today I might go to the gym on my lunch break and spend 20 minutes on the treadmill. Or even take a walk outside if it's warmed up...somehow it's supposed to get to almost 70 today!!! Today I'm working an extra hour and leaving an hour early tomorrow...which will suck today but be nice tomorrow! lol. It works out for me because tomorrow I have an oil change appointment right after work so I wouldn't have had time for the gym, and now I have an extra hour that I can go work out during.
Anyway, having eggs for breakfast this morning, salad with chicken for lunch, and lots of fruits and veggies to snack on. Dinner will be ham and some veggies. South Beach wasn't getting me results because of my snacking so I figured I might as well start with fruit again since I love it. Just gotta watch the calories....

Went out to lunch yesterday, to the chinese buffet. I didn't eat too much and it was yummy. Joe and I really need to stop eating out as it's spending money we could be saving AND most always not as healthy as cooking at home would be.
Made beef stew for dinner yesterday in the crock pot, was definitely yummy...but I think I'll be saving the leftovers for Joe. I get weird about leftovers a lot of the time.
I got all my homework done yesterday so today I just get to hang out, enjoy time with Spencer and Joe. Yesterday I did get in some exercise here and there which is good... going to try to do some cardio today (even if it's just dancing! lol!).
I am going to make up a meal plan for myself and one for the kids for this week- it helped last week and had I stuck to it 100% I probably would have seen better success. I didn't plan for after work which is my problem area, so I am going to do that this week and force myself to STICK TO IT!
Haha. Spencer likes to drop food from his high chair to the floor so the dog can eat it. The dog is still in bed, so he's dropping strawberries down to the cat instead. She didn't want them, and he seems confused. I love my kid. :)

Well, yesterday was alright, I strayed a bit from South Beach but counted calories during the day. My problem is definitely after work!! I really need to focus this coming week and NOT snack. Yesterday I picked up a ham and cheese wrap since we were driving Chloe to her mom's right after I got out of work and I was hungry...then I just snacked on crackers throughout the night, and had chicken nuggets at like, 9:30. I know I'm not doing myself any favors but I can't seem to quell the need to just munch once I get home.
Today I started out by eating two bowls of cereal...definitely not serving sizes, but not a ton, either. I'm nice and full now and probably won't eat again until lunch time. It's snowing out, lightly, but still...I'm irritated. On Thursday it was 64 degrees, and today, there's snow. Ridiculous! Joe and Spencer are both sleeping- Spencer was up for a few hours but was being crabby so I put him back in his crib and he fell asleep... Joe hasn't gotten up yet. The plan is to go to the grocery store but we might put it off 'til tomorrow...we'll see.
Right now I'm going to try to clean up the living room and kitchen. Got one of the music channels on TV and I'm feeling pretty productive. DEFINITELY going to get some exercise today too. MUST start that, even if I hate it.
My official weigh-in day with LoseIt! is Monday, but I checked the scale yesterday... bummed to see I've gained two pounds. I just don't know how it's possible... I think I need to hide the scale for a while and focus on really behaving at night and exercising every day.
