having some I Miss The Beach Blues...

Pismo Beach is my new favorite place in the world right now. We just got back from our weekend get away. I already miss it there. I think I need more than just a weekend there. I neeeed Beach!!!

Anyhow...

On the workout front, I am still going strong. Still going into Curves 5 days a week. I did take yesterday off because I was recovering from my weekend. I am just plain tired!

They are harder than the rest of the week. Naturally, after working out for 5 days straight, it would be harder right? Well, Today the trainer kicked it up and extra 10 reps each thing we did making 50 reps per exercise... OMG it was HARD. Sure, there are some things I could not make the entire 50 reps, but at least I tried and got as many done as I could. The trainer commented on how well I am keeping up because this is my 1st week doing her ball/floor workout when the other gals started at way fewer reps (I jumped in at 40 reps) I am pretty proud of that.

Well, at least the Friday workout is done and over with and I can relax for the rest of the day.

  


2 months and counting...

So yesterday was my weigh in at the gym. I think it went well. I had a loss of both lbs and inches. I have only one more lb to go before i reach a loss of my 1st 10 lbs. I think that is pretty great!

Working hard is paying off and I can finally see it!

Yes, Tuesday morning, I woke up and got dressed for the gym. While standing in front of the mirror, I noticed something was missing. My back fat rolls that I was soooo used to seeing after I put on my sports bra or well, any time, they were just always there. They were gone. My back is getting nice and smooth. WOW! What a feeling of accomplishment.

Today at the gym, I got a compliment that I was looking skinnier!

If this isn't motivation, I don't know what is.

Both yesterday and today I bumped my workout up to 60 minutes. I could have probably gone longer because well, I was not too tired.

Anyhow, I am just glad I am making progress. I want to be noticably different come December. I think I am gonna do it!

    Wow, that is so good. I can't wait until I can find pieces of me missing like that too. I want to see all the "rolls" roll right off me completely. I can't wait! And way to go with bumping up the workouts!

    That is exciting Lisa. It is so motivational to see changes that sneak up on us. I was walking around the kitchen this morning and something seemed weird, I was seeing my feet more than normal. Small thing but very cool. (I need a pedicure!) If we keep this up we will continue to see more more cool changes!

Standing Quad Stretch

Wow...

When I first started going to the gym on 5/6, I could not do this stretch. I stood there, holding onto a machine and just bent my knee. My hand could not reach my foot to even pull it up.

About 3 weeks later, I was able to grab the bottom of my shoe. (Still holding onto the machine next to me)

Here it is, 5 1/2 weeks later. I am now pulling my foot (from the top of my foot) up to my butt and I can let go of that machine I have been standing next to.

That is progress.

Some more good news, the pounds are starting to come off. According to the scale at the gym, in the past 11 days, I have lost 2.5 lbs that I gained last month, and I think that's great!

Here's to seeing some great results!
