One day fall doesn't make...

We're back in the 80's, warm summer weather and I pulled my shorts out again. Although it feels like summer the trees are telling a different story - they are starting to go golden.

Yesterday we went over to Durango to get a few bits at Office Depot and we stopped at a pizza place for lunch. Not the best of choices but we've both been craving pizza for a while. I minimized the damage but still had my fill. We also got a few things at the health food store - I love their curried turkey salad and I'll have some of that over a bowl of lettuce today.

Still catching up on paperwork and getting everything ready to take south. I'm quietly freaking out thinking about what I'm going to need for the business and also our personal taxes for the next 10 months... It makes me realize how much I rely on my archives...

Are you planning to stay for 10 months when you go down again? Wow! I guess I'd be afraid of that, too. I think the archive idea sounds good. What kind of business do you have that you can take with you like that? Is it some sort of online business? I hope you don't mind my asking. I'm just curious. Moon rising

Last night we had a full moon rising early - it wasn't quite dark yet and i got my camera out and took some pictures. Reviewed them on my digital screen and they were beautiful :)
This morning I stuck my card in the thingie that reds the pictures and puts them on iPhoto - no idea what went wrong but I lost the lot. It wouldn't read the card, then when I put the card back in the camera it had erased all the pictures as well.

Lucky there weren't any really important pictures on there, right? This is upsetting enough and it was just a moon rise...

With all the rain yesterday we got snow on top of the divide!!

Fall weather

I was wishing for fall and here it is :) It's rainy and chilly, the heater is on and I had to find my jeans and a cardigan in the back of my closet. I love it!
We even get a sprinkling of snow on the divide.. it's the right time for it. Last year we had the first snow Sept. 23rd.

Yesterday we met with a friend we hadn't seen since last November and she called me skinny :) It's always nice to hear that... even if I know I'm only a few pounds lighter than when I last saw her. It was great to catch up, talk about the kids (our DD's went to school and church together) and just chat.

Hello skinny! Sorry I haven't stopped by in a while. I've been out of town working, and only stopped in sporadically when I could find time I've been wishing for fall too... our leaves are changing and it got cooler... but Mr. Wonderful says it's been warm here this week (86 degrees one day). Monday weigh-in

The last few days have been filled with paperwork and data entry... catching up in the office. It feels good to be hands on again :)
Being home and into a routine again has helped to get rid of the travel bloat :)
142.3 this morning back to where i was about 10 days ago but still a few to go to get to goal (below 140)
