I get points for this, right?

Saturday, January 14, 2012

Ok, so they've found my secret weakness, points accumulation.

I'm on Day three of tracking (I've been trying to be healthy for a lot longer than that though). So far I've had one planned blow-out day, but I'm comfortable with that, because it was planned. I don't have anymore planned just at the moment.

My first immediate goal is to get myself under the "overweight" line according to my BMI. This does seem to be a fairly accurate indicator for my bodytype. Until about 18 months ago I'd never been above it, and then I ballooned up and passed it by 6 kg very quickly. I'm nearly back down to the line, which for me is 67. I have my next goal lines in my head already, but now it's time to see if I can get to the goal that the site has set for me in the timeframe it thinks I should be able to.

And now, to the gym!

Thanks for your comment TEALPWRAZ. I sew professionally - so one of my (many) tape-measures lives in the bedroom, and I measure prob 2-3 times a week, always in the hope that my thighs will have magically reduced significantly. *sigh*. emoticon

I am a points junky also. LOL Keep up the good work! If it helps, make sure you are measuring yourself, it is a better indication of the changes that you will achieve. It isn't instant gratification, but that's not what we really want. Healthy weight loss is the true goal, because it is easier to keep off.
