I did it again

Okay. I had been telling my husband that I wanted to go for a walk around Seward Park. I didn't know that was where we were going this morning...Anyway, once we started walking I asked how far is this walk and he said 3 miles, I told him, I only meant to do this once a week , not twice...he laughed and said...well you did it again...and YES I DID IT AGAIN, ANOTHER 5k WALK. Yes...Yes...I feel so good... and I finished it in 55 minutes, 20 minutes short of my first 5k....

    Keep it up girl! I am currently on week 8 (FINAL WEEK) of C25K. Jogging for 28 minutes non stop (NO WALKING)! It has been great! After this week, I will work on my speed so that I will eventually be able to jog/run the full 5K.

Hey....I've decided to train for 8 weeks for a 5k run. I can walk 25 min. so now on to the next step. I am going to do this for 8 weeks...train as much as I can for success... emoticon I know it will be hard for me but it will also be a challenge for me and that is what I need.

    Thank you all for the encouragement and motivation. I finished my first 5k run on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. It took me 75 min. but I completed it and that is what counts.

Feeling Good about myself...

Okay. So it's another week and I can't wait to get to the gym this afternoon. Me and my husband meet there daily to play racquetball and exercise. It's great. I've built my stamina up to 60 min. playing racquetball and I do treadmill and weight bearing machines also. The most I've exercised so far is 60 min. I've been to the gym every weekday for the past 3 weeks and I feel great and I can see the difference. I haven't lost a lot of weight but my body is reshaping and I love what I am seeing. I know it didn't take me overnight to gain the weight, so I'm not expecting it to come off fast either. I'm eating more nutritious and guess what, I'm looking forward to being more healthy. I love how I feel. GREAT.. Exercise is great...

Feeling better everyday

Okay, so this is the first time I've ever tried to "biog". My weight journey so far seems to be going well. I've started exercising daily for 30 -60 min. I feel GREAT. I have been meeting my husband at the gym for the past week after work. We've been working out together and I must say I enjoy it and have found I work out better and more when he's there. We play racquetball every day for at least 25-35 min., treadmill, I do for at least 15-30 min daily, walk stairs 5-10 min and then machines for10-20 min. I look forward to working out everyday now.
