I love shopping. But I usually hate trying on clothes because I hated that I had to buy size 14. Well yesterday I went on a shopping trip with a couple of friends and I decided to try on some pants since I needed more new clothes. I grabbed a size 8 and tried them on, they fit but were a little loose. So one of my friends says, "No, you need a smaller size! Where did you get them, I will get you a size 6." My friends are awesome, I wouldn't have probably gone to a size 6. So she gets size 6 jeans and I try them on. Holy cow to my surprise they fit!! I couldn't believe it!! I have gone from a size 14 to a 6/8!!! We also went to Old Navy and those jeans must run smaller because size 8 fit perfect. I am not complaining though, that is so awesome!!!! I just bought a pair last month for school at Old Navy, they are size 10, I haven't taken the tags off, so they will be going back for a smaller size!!! I am so excited!!! This is the most amazing thing ever.....never would I have thought I would be in this size! If you had asked me this in January of this year, I would have said "No I can't get that small! Only in my dreams!" Hahaha I have seen in my dreams that I was smaller, but now it is a reality, which is weird for me, but amazing at the same time. I am loving it! I decided to start Jillian Michaels Body Revolution over, only doing 6 weeks instead of 12. Since school is starting this week for my kids and I will be back to school at the end of the month, it will be easier to just stick with 6 weeks for now. So I only do each workout two times and then move on, (week 1 - wo 1 and 2, week 2 - wo 3 and 4, and so on).
On the upside, I am moving onward with my fitness and I weighed myself yesterday, 2 pounds more gone! And I only just re-started the BR program! That is awesome! I will probably do measurement after week 3 just to see if I get rid of any more inches. It will be interesting to see what I can do in 6 weeks of this program! I am still doing dancing for cardio, and a couple of my friends are pushing me to go to the group power class at the gym, and I did do that class twice last week....so sore after doing that and Jillian...but I did it, and I didn't die! Today I rested and I really needed this rest day!

I never thought I would be able to stick to this 12 week program! I usually get bored, but not with this one! I didn't follow the eating plan, and I didn't do her cardio DVD's because I go to the gym and do lots of cardio 6 days a week! Zumba 3 days a week, and Club Dance 3 days a week. I was unwilling to give up the dancing because it is so much fun and you still burn a lot of calories! I'm also not good at following eating plans because I love food, and I would end up having cheat days and then feeling horrible about it, and that is no way to do things. So I just ate as healthy as I could, and ate things I love but tried to cut portions down.
Anyways, so as promised here are my body stats:
Body Fat %- 28.3
Size: 14 pants
Size: Large pants
Arms - 11.5
Body Fat %- 25.8
Size: 10 pants
Size: Medium pants
I got rid of 3 inches off my waist, 3.5 inches off my hips, .5 inch off my thighs, .5 inch off my arms, 2.5% body fat, and 8.6 lbs. !!!!! I also went from a size 14 down to a size 10!! From wearing large pants, to now wearing medium!!! Wow, that is awesome for the past 12 weeks!!! I haven't been in a size 10 pant since before I had kids!!! That was about 10 years ago! I am that much closer to my goal of my weight being at 140. I also broke out of a plateau and got below 150's. Yay!!! I am going to keep going to the gym, but I might do this program again since it is so good, or I might look into doing something else. But either way I am going to continue on my fitness journey and keep on working out!

Just thought I would update. I have just completed week 11 of the Jillian Michaels Body Revolution! I never thought I would get this far! I usually give up or get bored about 3 weeks in. But not with this program! Even though it was hard, I kept at it. I also think because I saw results is why I kept going!
So next week is my last week of this torture! Hahaha! I will be doing measuring next weekend and I will blog about those stats. I will say I went clothes shopping, and wow I'm excited and impressed!! I haven't been this small in years!!! I'm talking like 10 years!!! My husband says I look better now than then though because I have more muscle now. Hahaha, he is too kind.

I was kind of dreading this day, yet a little excited. Today was measure and weigh day since I am done with phase 2 of Jillian Michaels Body Revolution program. Woo hoo! Phase 3 starts tomorrow. So here are my stats: Weight- lost 3 pounds total for July, okay didn't "lose" they are gone (hopefully forever!). Gone are 1 inch off my waist, 2 inches off my hips, 1/2 inch off my thighs, and 1.1% body fat! Oh my those were some good stats! My arms didn't change, but with everything else I am okay with that!! I am celebrating!!! This is awesome!! This is why I am continuing the BR program!! Every time it seems too tough I just remember how far I have come!! I was noticing last night that my pants are becoming way too big for me....hmmm...shopping soon for smaller clothes! YAY!!!!!
