I'VE LOST 6 POUNDS!

So last time I weighed myself at the gym was Monday, when I weighed 152 pounds. When I weighed myself there again today, it said 146!!!!! I can't believe it! So glad I joined the gym.

So I'm continuing to use my gym membership, mainly because it costs so much a month, and went for a half hour swim today. And, I managed to keep up in the fast lane! I'm proud of myself

New measurements

So I just updated my measurements/weight tracker, and I have lost 2 inches off my hips, 0.5 off my waist, and nearly 3 off each thigh! I don't know about you, but I think that's pretty darn good, and I'm proud of myself

I've been wanting to join the gym near me for a while, and Thursday last week I plucked up the courage (and the money) and signed up! I've just had my second session and I'm feeling great about it.

  

Giving Blood

Back in the summer my mum had to have a blood transfusion, or she would have died. So, I wanted to give blood so that other people could have their lives saved. However, when I tried to give before I wasn't allowed to because I'd been to Gambia within 6 months. So, as the 6 month mark passed, I signed up again for my first ever blood donation session! It was really scary when I was there - I was so nervous. But it only felt like an injection, then I couldn't even feel the needle in my arm of the blood coming out! And the nurse let me feel my pack of blood after I did it, which was fun :)
