Name Change

Wednesday, March 02, 2011

Ok So I changed my name. I figured with my new pacemaker I deserved to change things up a bit. I hope I didn't confuse anyone too much. But I really do appreciate my friends online here at Sparkpeople.

Heart Health

Saturday, January 22, 2011

So the two weeks ago I passed out while sitting in a meeting. and almost passed out three other times that day. So I have been seeing doctors and they have been running tests on my heart. So I realized that I need to really get serious about my health. So I have started slow and am working an one or two goals a week so that I end up living healthy.
I have suffered with Migraines in the past but haven't had any for years. I have also passed out a few times years ago. So I figure that this last episode even though it was different that others is just my crazy body revolting. So I figure it can't hurt to get healthy. If anything it will help and I will feel better if not then at least I look better and will have better self esteem (especially when my shirts off LOL). Well that is the latest on me. Hope everyone out there is doing great.

Extra Butter on my movie popcorn

Thursday, October 21, 2010

So I went and saw Knight and Day last night with my daughter. it was a funny show and we had a nice Daddy Daughter Date. However I drank two Diet Cokes ( large) and ate a large popcorn with extra butter it was all very good but I ate and drank too much and this morning I feel sick from all the butter and popcorn I feel like I have oil oozing out of my pours. And feel sick. So what a great time to do a little detoxification and drink lots of water today and eat healthy.
Thanks my goal and I'm sticking to it.

Motivated?

Friday, October 08, 2010

So, I was feeling down this morning. Feeling that I needed a kick in the pants to get going. So I had some time to spend on the SparkPeople sight. I'm glad I did because I made a new friend, who gave me some great advice and then I started looking at all my teams and reading blogs and articles and now I feel the motivation and have learned a lot.
One thing I learned is not to say I'm not motivated. But to say I have two choices and I must decide which one to make, eat right or not.
So I'm motivated and grateful to for my new friend and for Sparkpeople.

Motivation is important but commitment is even more important. When you have a choice between a something that will help you or something that will hurt you, make a commitment to yourself. Of course nobody is perfect, but this approach has helped me to make better choices one meal at a time. Good luck!
