Finding balance after a change is definitely a challenge. I haven't been to the gym in way to long. I need to get back there. I can feel my body yelling at me but quite frankly I have just been exhausted lately so I need to listen to my body that way too. I will get back there soon enough. I downloaded a new couch 2 5 k app because my other one went on the blink. I would be running and then it would seem like the interval was going on for longer than usual. I would look at the app and for some reason it was on pause!! However that just meant I could run longer than I thought I could :)

Well I am hoping to get back to the gym on Tues and thursday. So we shall see!

    I too have gotten off track. My body and the scale is showing my slacking. Back at it today!!

    You're right - figuring out the right balance (and making TIME for the things we want to do!) can be difficult to figure out. I finally managed it by starting really small. I didn't even commit to going to the gym - I just committed to 10 minutes of exercise. Once I had worked up to consistently getting 15-30 minutes of exercise it was easier to make the larger commitment. Hang in there. You'll figure out what's right for YOU!

So, I thought I would take a moment to blog for amin before contining on through the rest of my day. I have been dligent with my calories this week just not so much with my working out. I was thrilled to see I lost two lbs this week brining my loss to 12 lbs before my vacation. So, I am hoping and going to try to do my best that when I weigh in after my vacation I still have that 12 lbs there....or should I say not there...... I am even packing workout stuff just in case we end up at the gym or something while I am on vacation. I intend on doing allot of walking and hopefully not allot of eating the wrong stuff.

Ten lbs gone

So, I was thrilled with my weigh in this morning. Considering I hadn't made it to the gym in a bit. I have just been slighty more aware of what I have been eating. I slept today for 14 hours. I fell alseep on the couch last night. Even if my mind wasn't completely in it I did make it to the gym today!!! I was having an issue with my Couch to 5k today. It kept pausing so, I was running for longer stretches than I needed to so, on one hand it was annoying but, on the other it proved I could do it! So, I hav e to trouble shoot that app to figure out whats going on!

So, I still have plenty to lose but, ten lbs is a good start!

I am trying to find my footing to get back to the gym. Didn't make it today either. So looks like Friday at this point. Not making excuses just allot of changes for me right now. Doing OK with food actually. So, not sure what to expect on the scale on Friday morning.

So...unforunatly I still haven't made it back to the gym yet. I am unsure what tommorrow will hold but, I am hoping to get back there on Tuesday. I am going to start Day 1 of week 2 of my C25K again and try to get back into the groove. I figure I can work on Week 2 until after vacation then begining on week 3. That's my intention anyways. We shall see.

Today went to Animal Kingdom with the hubby. It was a pretty good day walking around too. Got my all my steps in, part of the reason I wasn't to concerned about getting to the gym today but, I have to say i feel 1000 times better with that exercise.
