As soon as I read this, I knew that this is the only thing keeping me from advancing in my life (weight loss, education, a better job...) And my father had ALWAYS told me to "do what you say and say what you do". Now that he has passed away, I feel an even greater need to follow his words every day. It will be very hard for me because "I can wait to go back to school until NEXT semester", "or I'll just work out tomorrow" is the normal thought process for me and it will take a while to break, but I will prove my trustworthiness to my self and others and honor my father's memory by changing this negative habit.

I wish I had enough to say to write in one of these things everyday, but i'm pretty boring, i guess! I'm just glad to feel back to my healthy self again! I finally got over my headache I had for a week!!! i wonder if anyone else has headaches like mine...

I have lost over 25 lbs since starting sparkpeople, and everyone is noticing. I have become galveston's own little walking ad campaign for sparkpeople, I have told so many people about it. They ask "what DIET are you on???" I just laugh and get their email addresses. I love the fact that I am reaching all of my goals and the weight is coming off almost effortlessly. Still need to exercise more, though. That is what I am working on now.

Have a salsa/merenge class tonight and I am soooo excited!!! I really needed to get in classes because otherwise, I just have trouble getting up and going to work out. I think this will be really good for me. I know I can commit!
