Exam over and done with!

Wow ! What a day! emoticon
Thank goodness today is over. The first paper was great. Multiple choice and thought I did OK. The paper this afternoon was terrible. All photos and graphs and multiple choice with what you thought it was ! When I started I was enjoying it but some of it got tricky.
oh well it's finished with and get results in October. It does not impact on my job other than I would no longer be on roster to do the breastfeeding clinic.

I did well with the food. Had a nutrition bar and then ordered scrambled egg with spinach for lunch. Knowing I had the exam I wanted to make sure I had enough nutrition to keep my brain happy......... emoticon

So tomorrow I am back to work after a week off as I had an Accrued day off last Friday and with the weekend and study leave I am looking forward to going back.

So we are in the middle of winter here and it is cold and wet. Feeling proud as we have not put on the heater and just rug up with throw rugs if we get cold. Trying to see if we can afford to still live here when we retire......... emoticon

We are lucky as the house has been orientated correctly and we get sun pouring into the house in the family, kitchen and lounge rooms during the day. So as long as we close off the house by 4pm it stays warm. And as it is just hubby and I now, we just use the front part of the house.

Anyway hubby is home so going to make him a salad to go with his lamb chops that he is barbecuing for himself. I will have a shake and that is me for the day. emoticon

    Glad the exam is over and you thought you did well. What is with the huge delay in results? October is ridiculous wait for a multiple choice exam!!
I can't imagine being in winter without heat lol. You are fortunate if you can get away without needing it! Would love to live in a south facing home!

    Glad that the exam went well. I am sure that you will
ace it! We are also lucky here with the weather this
winter. I don't own a heater and have tiles on the floor
but the unit is warm enough so far. We had 23 degrees
today and it will reach 27 on Friday. Woo hoo!. Maybe it
is time for the beach again. Have a great day back to work.

Hi everyone,

a little tired as have an exam tomorrow so have been on study leave for last few days and have been doing practice exams. emoticon

Did a dummy run to the venue in real time this am. Got there at 7:20! Don't need to be there till 0830 for registration. Problem is that I have to drive through peak hour traffic and leave it much later and an accident and I am in big trouble. So would rather be early, than in a tizzy and running late. emoticon It was good to get a feel for the venue and parking.

Am so proud of myself! emoticon

Have got rid of a total of 5 kg /11 lbs in the last 4 weeks on this Cambridge diet. I love the fact that I am drinking 2.5 litres of water a day, so am well hydrated. Starting to notice a difference with some of my clothes already. At this rate I will be at goal BMI of 22 in the next 10 weeks!

Well I had better get to bed and get some sleep so I can think straight for this exam tomorrow.

The numbers are going DOWN!

So happy. This eating plan is working!

Started at 74.8 kgs on the 26th of June.

Today less than 2 weeks later 71.8kgs! I have not seen those numbers for a long time. emoticon

emoticon Drinking 4 glasses of water before I eat anything.

Cambridge eating plan. Step 2 Have a Cambridge porridge for breakfast with 180mls 1% milk.
Lunch: Cambridge soup with 180mls %1 milk.
Snack: Cambridge shake.
Dinner is a choice of a variety of protein foods with 3 tablespoons of green vegetables.

The changes I have noticed is that I no longer crave sweet food. The shake is quite sweet so I think that helps.

I went to visit a friend for morning tea this am and she had cooked scones and had the cream and jam and butter...................
emoticon Some quick thinking about how nice they would taste and then my sensible strong will power voice said NO! thankyou. I stated I was on a special eating plan and had to pass. My friend was VERY supportive and just asked if I minded her eating in front of me and I stated that it did not bother me at all.

If that had of been me 2 weeks ago I would have got stuck in, and probably eaten at least 2!

It was a wonderful 2 hours of catching up and I headed home before the storms arrived.

Even managed to take Sooty for a quick walk after I got back. Very windy but the rain stayed away long enough for a quick walk. emoticon

Can't wait to get into the 60's............ emoticon

Well I am once again trying a different way to lose my weight. emoticon

I didn't say anything when I started , as I wanted to see if it works.

I also am aware that Sparkpeople do not condone these type of diets. The problem was that on 1200 calories I was maintaining!!!!

So this new diet of 800-900 calories a day with emphasis on drinking lots of water and 4 meals of 200 calories each has me losing weight!

I feel great, not thinking about food all day and enjoying the food when I do eat.

    Libby love .. We are all different .. What works for one may not work for another ..
I was eating at 1000 cals. But because I can't do much weight bearing exercise I have decided to drop to 900 -1000.
I have put n a few kilos .. Just didn't track as I should have done ..
Been to much stress when Colin so ill ..then when he passed I didn't care what I ate ..
I am gradually getting myself back into the right mind set ..
I find I am better just eating 3 meals a day and maybe a fruit snack ..
