Down down down...........:-)

The numbers are going DOWN!

So happy. This eating plan is working!

Started at 74.8 kgs on the 26th of June.

Today less than 2 weeks later 71.8kgs! I have not seen those numbers for a long time. emoticon

emoticon Drinking 4 glasses of water before I eat anything.

Cambridge eating plan. Step 2 Have a Cambridge porridge for breakfast with 180mls 1% milk.
Lunch: Cambridge soup with 180mls %1 milk.
Snack: Cambridge shake.
Dinner is a choice of a variety of protein foods with 3 tablespoons of green vegetables.

The changes I have noticed is that I no longer crave sweet food. The shake is quite sweet so I think that helps.

I went to visit a friend for morning tea this am and she had cooked scones and had the cream and jam and butter...................
emoticon Some quick thinking about how nice they would taste and then my sensible strong will power voice said NO! thankyou. I stated I was on a special eating plan and had to pass. My friend was VERY supportive and just asked if I minded her eating in front of me and I stated that it did not bother me at all.

If that had of been me 2 weeks ago I would have got stuck in, and probably eaten at least 2!
Jam cream and all! emoticon

It was a wonderful 2 hours of catching up and I headed home before the storms arrived.

Even managed to take Sooty for a quick walk after I got back. Very windy but the rain stayed away long enough for a quick walk. emoticon

Can't wait to get into the 60's............ emoticon

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Having success!

Saturday, July 05, 2014

Well I am once again trying a different way to lose my weight. emoticon

I didn't say anything when I started , as I wanted to see if it works.

I also am aware that Sparkpeople do not condone these type of diets. The problem was that on 1200 calories I was maintaining!!!!

So this new diet of 800-900 calories a day with emphasis on drinking lots of water and 4 meals of 200 calories each has me losing weight!

I feel great, not thinking about food all day and enjoying the food when I do eat.

emoticon

Will talk about this more another time as my dinner is ready. emoticon

Libby love .. We are all different .. What works for one may not work for another ..
I was eating at 1000 cals. But because I can't do much weight bearing exercise I have decided to drop to 900 -1000.
I have put n a few kilos .. Just didn't track as I should have done ..
Been to much stress when Colin so ill ..then when he passed I didn't care what I ate ..
I am gradually getting myself back into the right mind set ..
I find I am better just eating 3 meals a day and maybe a fruit snack ..
Hope all is well with you and your family .. Sending Love to all xxx. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Sorry that things got a little too much for you at work. Here's hoping that you're on the road to recovery.

Been around, but not sparking much lately. Only because I have been extremely busy here with family birthdays, gardening and graduation.

Hugs!

Great stuff on the tracking!! Good for you taking time off when the job became too much, you sure don't need the problems stress and overwork brings.. I kind of remember you mentioning at one time things were supposed to settle down and you were to only work one area and that the extra was temporary, has that changed?
Wishing you a calm, peaceful and fun two weeks!

A positive day!

emoticon My Face book and Sparkfriend Lori Little is coming back to Sparkpeople after an absence, I have missed her thought provoking blogs, so hope she starts blogging regularly.

emoticon Love hearing from friends and family travelling all over the world at the moment, escaping our winter and travelling to Europe, Greece, Canada, a niece in NYC , just wonderful. Almost feel like I am over their with them when they share their photos.

emoticon Spark's streak of 23 days! Tracking nutrition everyday and exercise when I do it.

emoticon emoticon emoticon Persistence and consistency will get us to our goals!

Oh did I tell you I have a goal date?

emoticon My best friend's eldest daughter is getting married in November this year. So this gives me a goal of 4.5 months to lose weight, 5 kilograms would be great!

emoticon emoticon emoticon

Do you find that you are more focused and lose weight if you have an event or time limit to aim for?

I'm glad you're on track with things.

I actually don't find any difference with goal weight.

I'm a major procrastinator and my son is graduating from high school a week from Friday.

I knew it was coming up, but I still didn't buckle down and lose the weight.

Good luck with the weight. I am going to try for 5 kg
as well as I will have a wedding to go to in October also.
I got a notification that Lori had a blog but I couldn't get in
to it. Did you find it? I will go into my friend's list and see if
I can find the blog that way.
I saw the Perth temperatures and it has been getting low
at night, hasn't it? I wouldn't mind escaping to Greece
myself. this time next year for sure. Let's egg each other
on and lose the 5 kilos. We Can do it Libby. emoticon
