OMG...it's raining here and grey and one of those days where the old me would have siezed the moment to make popcorn(with tons of butter) and get a cozy fleece blanket,snuggle up on the couch with my cats and pick a really good chick flick and been soooooo HAPPY!!!!!! Instead I went to the gym and worked out....it took everything in me to do it and honestly I have to thank my husband for saying to me .."I can see you're falling into your old habits again!" meaning...I wake up , I get on the computer to check for work stuff and then start answering all e-mails..before you know it 2 hrs go by, I haven't eaten breakfast and I have to get ready for work....My NEW habits are ..I get up, get dressed in my workout clothes and have breakfast on my deck and go to the gym or get on my bike, workout for anywhere from 30 mins - 1 1/2 hrs. I like the way my new habits make me feel and how everything else in my life has started to fall back in place...AMAZING!!!!! I am a task conquering machine and I have boundless amounts of energy!! I am grateful for this website, my trainer Katie and my husband for helping me achieve my goals.
Tomorrow will be 14 days in a row for working out...my halfway point to my goal I established with my trainer. The goal being workout 28 days in a row to shift that paradigm and get back to an active,healthy and fun lifestyle!! Change can be uncomfortable, but that feeling is when you know you are on your way to accomplishing a goal. My aim is to keep that in the forefront of my mind when I make my daily little choices and see where that takes me!!
