I skipped yesterday -- just wasn't in the mood to get on the computer for some reason.
I'm updating #'s 1,2, 3 and #4 and adding #5 tonight.
For my 5% challenge - Determined Daisy team - this week we are to blog about a new healthy habit we would like to develop each day. We are also to ask ourselves the following questions:
1) How will you do that?
2) What are you doing to encourage yourself and keep on track?
3) How are you doing day by day?
4) What can you improve upon?
5) Do I need some motivation or advice? Ask for it!
#1 - cutting back on diet soda - did pretty good - had 1 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday, 0 on Monday and 1 on Tuesday, Wednesday - not so good - had 3, Thursday - 0
#2 - add in a different exercise each week. Try something new - whether it's a new video on Spark, a ST I haven't tried before or something else. - I tried out a new ST on Spark that I haven't tried before - "side plank on ball" - wow -- tough one!
#3 - take a few minutes each day for myself - whether it's just to close my eyes & meditate for a few minutes or pampering myself with some little thing. - today (Tuesday) I sat down & read a few chapters in a book I've been trying to read for quite some time now! Wednesday - I really didn't do anything special for myself, Thursday - I sat for 10 minutes at my desk at work and closed my eyes & meditated - almost fell asleep!
#4 - (Tuesday's new habit) - work on having a positive attitude at work. My job is stressful and so it's easy to get negative sometimes - SO I want to work on that! -- I worked hard today on my positive attitude & I feel like it did make me feel better!
#5 - NEW HABIT - I know this one will be silly sounding but I used to do this all the time when I first started Spark. Every time I visit the ladies room at work I am going to do 25 wall pushups. I used to do 100 or so a day and I want to get back to doing that regularly.
