'To the front babydoll!'
One of my favorite sayings from Turbo Jam! Chalene has such an infectious spirit...no matter how down or not into it you feel before a workout, you are guaranteed to feel upbeat after her workouts!
Today, there was a little switch in the CLX schedule. Instead of doing a strength training workout, Burn It Off and Recharge was in order. I think I like this new schedule. It means I will be doing ST on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. My rest day will still be on Mondays. On Saturdays, I will do ST before water aerobics. I am normally burned out after water aerobics so I have to do any other exercise before I go.
Tomorrow, I will take my measurements. I have lost weight but the measurements may be another story. Most of my beachbody friends who I had started out with in January (and who are now completing the lean phase) did not see much change in their measurements until the Push Phase. Plus Chalene did write that it is in the Lean Phase, one will see major fat loss! Of course, I am not discrediting all the work I have done this month, I am just trying to have realistic expectations. I definitely feel stronger! I am doing push ups on my toes (not all reps but it is a start ) AND best of all, today, I did all Burpees in Burn It Off without modifications!!!
I did Cardio Party - it has been a while since I did this workout. I have been doing Cardio Party Mix 2 so many times, I forgot that Cardio Party is so much fun!! George cracks me up with those sounds he makes throughout the video! By time, I was done. I was soaked and grateful to do Slim & Limber from Slim in 6.
