Last day of vacation

Well I went for my walk this morning and tried a new route. I normally walk around the lake and today I walked on the trail that goes around the outside lines of the park. Turns out I really didn't gain much more. It was only .20 more than normal. I also went a little later than normal and there were more people out. Devo enjoyed meeting other dogs. Now what to do about the rest of the day. Need to stay busy so I wont snack. I will try and do somehting with my daughter.

Well I made it through the holiday vacation and I even lost a pound or two. It fluctuates on the scale. I am very surprised. I did walk everyday about 5 miles and I think that is what helped. Once I go back to work it will be easier to watch what I eat. It won't be as available as it is now. I am sad that the vacation is almost over, because I really had a great holiday. The family really spent some time together, sledding, skiing. I think this was the closets the family has been in years. I truly loved it.

  


weekends are tough

weekends are tough to stay on track. I can get my excercise in by walking in the morning and in the evening. But the eating part is difficult. I went to the store today and nothing looked good that was healthy and good for my diet. But everything that was not good for me looked delicious. Cheeses, sausages, dips. All the holiday stuff was out and looking good. Not sure I will make it through these next two weeks without gaining some weight back. Argh! I have the next two weeks off from work and it will be too easy to snack.

    Hang in there...The holidays make it rough...When you get to the end of the rope...Tie a knot and hang on :) We can do this :)

    Just set daily goals for yourself,aside from eating goals,even ones that may seem ridiculous like,mailing out a letter,getting the mail. I know its hard,I've been eating,big time peanut butter balls I made-funny last night the church sent me a fruit basket!!go on spark for support,someone is always around,my best to you-Kathleen
