Since I've been away I've let loose. That loseness played havoc on my health, but I am back in the game.
I have been back in the game since last Monday. I've lost 4 pounds and doing great with 5 day a week workouts and changing my eating habits. This time it feels different. I still feel excited, but I feel more encouraged to keep going.
Morning breakfast usually is Greek yogurt with frozen mixed berries and almonds or overnight oatmeal with geek yogurt, mixed berries and banana. Once in a great while I eat scrambled eggs with Turkey bacon and cheese with 12 grain bread, but I like something sweet in the morning. Also I feel fuller with the yogurt fruit combo.
Lunch is usually a grilled sweet chili wrap from work with half the sauce extra veggies and add some jalapenos. It fills me up for most of the hours while there. If I am at home I eat some sort of lean turkey sand which or a healthy choice microwaving food. Now just to let you know I'm not big on microwaved food, but I usually don't have a lot of time at work or off work.
Snack is an Apple, fruit or wheat thins and hummus.
Dinner depends on who is cooking. Most of the time it's me and its something on the healthier side. When hubby cooks is pizza, or chili dogs, or a huge bag of chicken Alfredo with garlic sticks. When he cooks I have to adjust my calorie intake a bit. He's just not a great cook. Lucky us it's only 1 to 2 nights a week if that.
As far as work outs go. Last week I did a fitness blender.com 5 day challenge. They sure do make you sweat a bunch. This week they released a new 5 day week challenge. It's day two today. It was awesome. Once this challenge is over I am thinking for the next few weeks to repeat this process of the 2 five day challenges, but I am also seriously leaning to buy one of their 8 week programs.
So time to wrap this up. It's been a great two weeks!
