2012 Plan + Dreams x Incentives + Motivation = GOALS ACHIEVED

Monday, January 02, 2012

1. FIND JOY in the small/ little things, NOT letting others effect me.
2. Enjoy the day, NO MATTER WHAT!
3. Take pride in the day.
4. Learn something NEW everyday, keeps the brain working.
5. Eat to FUEL my body. But still enjoy the good things.
6. Exercise with purpose, not as a chore. FOCUS.
7. Purge as cleaning, too much stuff = clutter....need to downsize alot of things
8. Tell those around me that they are loved and WHY....
9. Listen to the FAMILY /FRIENDS, be there shoulder.
10.Take a few more deep breathes when things seem STRESSFUL
11. Enjoying the TIME with friends and family, with out watching the clock.
12. More time for ME, does NOT mean I am SELFISH.

listed below are my Definitions of the 12 goals and what they mean to me...
With pictures, each picture fits each goal I think.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Definition of the 12
1. FIND JOY in the small/ little things, NOT letting others effect me.
Being around the "NEGATIVE NELLIES" who want me join, their team is no longer
apart of who I want to be.....from the hike in the woods on a rainy day, to stress of work, the "NELLIES" are not doing to steal my JOY!
12/17/2011 Tara's Paw prints in the snow.
2. Enjoy the day, NO MATTER WHAT!
This quote says it all, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…it’s learning to dance in the rain.” - Unknown
Storm clouds over the AZ sky. 2011
3. Take pride in the day.
A Quote From my dad, "No matter what be PROUD of WHO you are and what you BELIEVE in."
Me and my GodDaughter 2010 enjoying the silly with her is priceless...and instilling the same values her Pa would have shared with her.
4. Learn something NEW everyday, keeps the brain working.
Always being active, and ready for a new day. a new CHALLENGE.
Keeps you young and keeps the brain active.
12/18/2011 Geocaching in morning frost.
5. Eat to FUEL my body. But still enjoy the good things.
I was a very picky eater as a kid, but I have learned to like ALOT of new foods.
but weakness is sweets...Will be trying more fruit this year..
HOME Grown Veggies to share with family and friends great exercise and FUEL!!
6. Exercise with purpose, not as a chore. FOCUS.
With DH not working, going to the gym and taking classes has been out of the budget, so using MY gym more will be on tap this year.
GYM + ME = REWARDS
7. Purge as cleaning, too much stuff = clutter....need to downsize alot of things.
Being EMPTY NESTERS Sucks.... I have all my Daughters junk...she is stationed in GERMANY, so shipping her all her books, stuffed animals, old clothes, nicknacks,
is not an option, this means that mom gets to store it all...will be downsizing
her stuff as much as possible. Same for my son's stuff.... he does not have
the storage at his apt. but mom and dad are not keeping it all.
Reggie, My Daughter's Dog with her stuffed toys...Toys still here Reggie is in Germany.
8. Tell those around me that they are loved and WHY....
You Say "I LOVE YOU" but even though you have said it..... have you ever
told that person why? You cant when they are gone.
Nothing beats a hug from your MOM.
9. Listen to the FAMILY /FRIENDS, be their shoulder or sounding board....You might
need it in return. This Christmas I listened to my brother recall a family STORY... his version was not the same as how I remembered it.... we laughed and corrected each other on the actual story then called mom ....Listening enlightens your heart.
Christmas Dinner + Childhood stories x laughter = more memories!
10.Take a few more deep breathes when things seem STRESSFUL.
I have been told, I take things to seriously, and that I worry to much,
So taking a break from what ever is an overload and stepping back, is my plan.
Took this picture 8/2011, while on a bike ride with Hubby... it is one of my favorites, and this picture is relaxing.... if your look there is a Butterfly in the lower right.
11. Enjoying the TIME with friends and family, with out watching the clock.
We live in a gotta go, busy rushed world...the gotta have NOW mind set.
Going to try and forget the clock when out with family and friends. To ENJOY their
company.
GEOCACHING takes you places with your family with a purpose, and the family time is priceless....
12. More time for ME, does NOT mean I am SELFISH.
Being able to enjoy the things that make me HAPPY, without anyone calling me
SELFISH....from time with family to doing what I want....I have earned it....
and I deserve it!
One of my Roses 2011
have a great day..
Trying to just heal a broken heart
Tuesday, December 20, 2011
Thankyou for all the thoughts and prayers for me.....
It may be the holidays, the Christmas song may be ringing in the stores and on the radio... but this holiday is not how I pictured things to be.... after getting dressed this morning and finding my way down the stairs seeing the spot my Tara should be sleeping ...and she's not there ...her water dish her food dish her favorite pillow all cleaned up all put away ...
I have to find the holiday spirit again
down a couple of cups of coffee and head out to pickup the last of the gifts for DH and my son ...trying not to just pull over and scream like a mad woman ...found 1/2 of the things I was needing to finish my list....head home to finish the cookie baskets we are giving to family this year..
baked a double batch of tollhouse
did a triple batch of peppermint bark
100+chocolate dipped pretzels
60+ snowballs
on tap for tomorrow
chex mix
fake caramel corn
brownie snowballs
and to start making baskets
I will be missing both my dogs for the rest of my life ....
now I can say we are empty nesters completely no kids 2 legs or 4 legs
we dont have to be home to take the dog out ...
thakyou again for the love and support
it means the world to me
love
m
    When I lost my puppy Maxx (13yrs old) my heart broke in a million pieces. My job (the 4legged lovers we all are) understood completely & allowed me to take a day off. I cried at work, home & alone & everyone was very sympathetic to me talking about him cause they knew I loved him truly. He was so there for me at all times & I miss they laid back way he was. I did get another puppy about a month later which wasn't the best but I do love Shadow. He isn't Maxx but he has his own little light that shines. Next adoption I will get a pup that's about 2yrs & from a shelter. Take time to heal but with the love you guys have in your hearts, give another loving nonhuman a home. When you are absolutely ready...
God bless & keep you!
Dee
SnowAngel Tara
Monday, December 19, 2011
Tara in the fresh falling snow on 12/17/201....It is Dec here in the mid west and we have no snow ...but my Taragirl got to be in the snow one more time ....
the Dr told us this morning that she has a growth in her lymphoids and it was most likely cancer ...
We choose not to put her through any tests at 14 she might not be able to endure a good quality of life much longer... Knowing that CANCER is a bad word for anyone to hear..Making the decision to end her pain only made ours greater....missing her and loving her and Diamond...is neverending....
cancersucks to but it bluntly sorry if I said a bad word but it there is no other way to say it ...
this is a picture I took this morning while on our "check the yard walk Tara and I would take..she would look at the flowers look at the gardens ...find the frogs
or snakes...
RIP 12/19/11 Tara you are loved forever and never forgotten
the only small comfort in my heart is that she and diamond are together
hope there is snow at the RAINBOW BRIDGE for these 2 .....
till we meet again
