I want to thank all of you for the congrat's on being chosen motivator today. I was so surprised. I've been having problems /W/ my computer for a while now, & trying to save some cash to buy a new one, so I'm not on line as often as I'd like to be.

Hi everyone, I hope each & everyone of you are doing well. I haven't been on SP, or on line for awhile. I did mention a while back that I was in a car accident & going for therapy. It's helping me quite a bit. I actually workout /W/ weight machines. It's a gym & I'm loving it. I am limited at what I can do, but it's helping me, so that's all that matters. I have to wear a belt around my waist, because if I don't I'm in great pain. I just hope that I will be back close enough to my old self.
I do apologize for not stopping by to say hello sooner, I just have a rough time sitting in front of the computer for awhile. My lower back bothers me sitting.
Well at least I'm working out & walking backwards on the treadmill. My therapist has me doing this. I now can walk on the treadmill for 20 min /W/ some pain still in the back. But I'm coming around.
I'll pop in to say hi more often. I tell U one thing, when I get home from therapy, I'm wiped out, & just want to lay down.

    Hi Wendy, Rhonda, Donna & Turtlerae,

It was so wonderful hearing from all of you. Thanks so much for caring how I'm coming along.

I will be able to do more cardio now. I finally got up to 20 to 25 min on treadmill, where a month ago I barely could walk for 5 min. I did mention, my therapist has me walking backwards on it, cause it will strengthen my back & core. The only thing he told me I could never run again, because of the injury on my knee. The impact will hurt me. So that's the least of my worry. I just want to be able to do anything at this point. I gained 15 lbs since, but /W/ more cardio I should knock it off. Keep your fingers crossed for me there. I feel uncomfortable. I'm not used to being this weight. I'm only 5 ft & it shows. BOO HOO!

    Lee, It is sooooo nice to hear from you and glad to hear that you are on the mend. It sounds like you really have been put through the wringer with your injuries. Thanks for the update. I am so glad to hear that you are improving. I should have known you would love the gym part of your therapy! Good for you; that is so important.

Take things slowly, and follow everything they tell you to. I empathize with your pain; I suffered with back pain for about 10 years. Probably your being in shape will make your recovery better. Hang in there, my friend!

Hi All My Special Spark friends,
I want to say thanks to all of you who sent there best to me for a speedy recovery in e-mails to me. There were so many of you who sent me wishes to feel better & to be honest, I want to thank you all individually, but I can't stay in one position for to long, because my lower back hurts to much in the sitting position.
So I decided to write a blog to all of you & say, thank you so much for caring & showing such a concern. I really am very touched. You all are so special to me, & I truly love you all.

Taking A Break! Allergies Got The Best Of Me!

I figured I'd write to U all in a blog, about taking a break for a while. I have allergies so bad, that it has been interfering /W/ my everyday life. I manage to walk or weight Train 1x a wk. & it's been very frustrating for me. It seems in the past 2 yrs. my sinus allergies have gotten worse.

Last week I tried to get a DR appt, & they told me there computers were down, & I should keep trying. Well I did for 2 days, then Sat. came & had to wait for today, Monday to try again. Well I finally succeeded & will be seeing a Dr tomorrow. I hope I can be helped, because everything I did to help myself failed

To be honest, I have no will, drive or desire to workout. This is not like me. I enjoy working out. Well anyway I just wanted to share /W/ my teams & other friends why I haven't been around from time to time.
Hope to be back exercising & on Sparks soon.

    My allergies are so bad during this time of year. My dr. perscribed nasonex and that's been helping me out, but I feel like I use it every hour. I'm going on shots next year. I hope you feel better babe! And, just a continued "bless you" for every sneeze that you do from now until you come back to spark!

    So sorry about the allergies Lee and hope you get some relief soon. I have to take pills daily as I have chronic allergies (skin rash) and I know how miserable it can be to daily life. My thoughts are with you and I'm sending some positive vibes your way. Hugs, Rhonda
