May 13 Goals

Again late in posting this. I think there were at least 3 separate times that I would plan on coming to post and something else would happen! lol I met all of my goals yesterday. The exercise was the hard one. But I did 37 mins on the wii fit, 15 of step aerobics and then some boxing and obstacle course! lol And then some other little ones that I just think are fun. :-) I did get IN bed by 10:59, but decided to read a little and went to sleep around 11:30 I guess, maybe not quite that late, I was tired.

My goals for today were:
1. Drink 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1300 calories and 1800 mg sodium
3. Go for a walk/run today
4. Strength training--50 wall push ups, 50 squats, 50 situps, 25 leg lifts on each leg

Of course I have lots of chores I need to get done today since it is a non-work day, laundry, cleaning the bathrooms, and watching the baby that I watch a couple of times a month. :-) Hope it is a good day!

  


May 12 Goals

VERY late in posting these today...but here is my report from yesterday...I think I stayed under 1500 calories...when I left for card club I had right at about 1000 calories, so that gave me 500 to play with. Well what I put on my plate was two of some spanish thingies that look like a cross between cornbread and scones, they were about baseball size around and flat. And then I had one of thePaula Deen orange something that resembled a donut. Well I tried REALLY hard but I could not make it through the whole night without getting one more of the orange thing. But that was it and I had 3 large glasses of water while I was there. So I ended up with about 13 glasses of water yesterday. Overall, while I didn't do the best, I think I certainly did well. Some of the other girls had 3-4 of the scone things and 3-5 of the orange things. I got the pushups and squats done, but I have to do the sit ups and leg lifts in bed because it hurts my back to lay on the floor and DH was already in bed so I did not get those done. Of course, I finished my card stuff with plenty of time to spare! woohoo! And it was a great batch of cards this time. :-)

So for this very late in the day goal list:
1. Drink 10 glasses of water
2. Exercise for at least 30 minutes
3. Be careful what I eat today because we have a food day/birthday celebrations at work
4. Be in bed by 11pm

That's all for today. I will post again tomorrow morning because I have got to have a better plan for the day! :-) How did you all do today or yesterday or this week? I hope well!

    Better late than never, I say! I was posting mine the same time you were posting yours...LOL

Good for you at card club. Parties/get-togethers are hard because food saboteurs surround you! At least they surround me. :-)

May 11 Goals

I did very well with everything except the exercise. I totally spaced it, I was so involved in getting the stuff done for card club so I wasn't rushing at the last minute on Tuesday that I didn't even think about it until this morning. (And I still didn't get everything done for the card anyway!) UGH! I was trying so hard to be good. Well, I can't beat myself up, I can't change the past, I can only change the future, right?! So onward and upward! lol

Today's goals are:
1. Stay under 1500 calories
2. Drink 10 glasses of water
3. Finish preparing for card club
4. Strength training--50 wall pushups, 50 squats, 50 sit ups, and 25 leg lifts on each leg
5. Get one serving/plate of food at card club and make it stretch throughout the night and that's it!

I can do this!!! Just like last week, I can enjoy it without having to pig out on it. I can have one serving of ANYTHING I want, but I just have to keep it to one serving size, not 5!!! lol I need to stick to it to meet my goals for this month and getting over this plateau. I cannot continue to justify it with this is a party or I will just do better tomorrow, NO! I have to do and be better TODAY! I can do this (and so can you!!!) :-) Have a great day everyone! May 10 Goals

Well I got the water and the enjoying the day, but not so sure about the food. I think I am okay on the calories, but not so much on the sodium! lol Oh well.

Today's goals were (yes a little late posting but I know what they are all day):
1. Stay under 1400 calories/sodium less than 2000 mg
2. Drink 10 glasses of water
3. Prepare at least part of my stuff for card club tomorrow.
4. Exercise for at least 10 minutes

Also for this week I hope to be under 165! So I need to keep track of everything, tomorrow is card club which means food right in my face. I already have in mind my goals for tomorrow when it comes to that. Now to post them tomorrow morning and stick to them! You will help me be accountable right?! :-) lol Thanks!! lol

May 9 Goals

I met all my goals from yesterday!!! WOOHOO! emoticon Now my sodium was a different story and so therefore my scale reflected it. :-(

For Mother's Day today:
1. Stay under 1300 calories/less than 2000 sodium
2. Drink 10 glasses of water
3. Enjoy the day doing whatever I want!! lol

Because sometimes it is okay to do nothing or whatever YOU want!! Not what someone else wants you to do! :-)
