May 3 Goal

Okay I stink at this! lol I didn't meet either goal yesterday. I got 6 glasses of water, but not 8. I meant to get the last two (I drink using a 16 oz glass) right before I went to bed and totally spaced it. I was too lazy to get up and get it after I went to bed and remembered, plus I didn't want to fight with the puppy to get back in my bedroom without her on my heels. Yes excuses. I did get two shows of Apprentice watched but still have two to go...well really three now since it was on again last night. lol

For today:
1. Stay within my calorie range
2. Get at least 10 mins of exercise
3. Drink 10 glasses of water

This is so I can continue working on both my health and my weight. I really want to bed down to 159 at least before we leave on vacation this summer. I only have 1 1/2 months to do it. With about 7 pounds to lose.

May 2 Goals

Review of yesterday, I think I got about 10 mins of exercise yesterday. I actually took the new puppy out and DS wanted me to "catch him" so we played tag for about 10 mins. I wasn't keeping track so I don't know exactly, but I am going to say that it was! lol I only got 3 scrapbook pages done, I got sidetracked buying kits instead! Shhhh don't tell my DH! lol But I did buy about $28 worth of products for only $8!! And I posted on both blogs (and scheduled some to post today! lol)

Today's Goals:
1. Get all my water in
2. Get caught up with some shows

Yes they are simple today but since it is Sunday it is my day of rest.

    I am an avid scrapbooker as well. Playing with a puppy is a lot more fun than going to the gym, Goodluck in keeping your goals. :)

May 1 (Day 1 again) Goals

Okay I am stealing this idea from my friend Marilee. She picks 2-4 goals she is going to accomplish each day and blogs about them and even why she is doing it. So I am going to try that out and see how I do.

1. Exercise at least 10 minutes
2. Scrap at least 4 pages today
3. Create one Family Blog post and one Scrapbook blog post.

Why:
1. Because I need to get my movement in
2. Because I want to get 30 pages done this month and today is National Scrapbooking day so I think I should take advantage of it!
3. I need to get caught up on my blog posts!

New Goals for 2010

Okay so this is sort of a laundry list and it isn't all SP related, but this is my blog and I can put whatever I want on it right?! lol

My LTGW is still 130 (even though my wii fit that I just got today told me I should really be at 119!!!!! I think that is too skinny even on my 5 ft 2 in body. I guess I will see when I get down to 130 if I think I need to do some more or just tone up).

So here are all my goals for 2010, an action plan for most of them and then I will also put my rewards for my SP weight loss goals!

1. Lose 30 pounds this year (get to 140) My starting weight for this year is 171.6 (bad, bad, bad, I allowed the holidays to dictate me and not me dictate them. You would think this being my second year going through the holidays with SP I would have learned, but I think the plateau just frustrated me and I allowed myself to give into a million more indulgences than I should have. Oh well I am not going to beat myself up, but just get back on the wagon and do it right!)
a. Exercise or do strength training for at lesat 10 mins 5 days a week
b. Track food at least 5 days a week
c. Have 5 freggies a day (this is very hard for me, but I certainly am trying and learning)

As I meet my weight loss goals here are my rewards:
160 pounds-Get a Massage
150 pounds-$100 clothes shopping spree (I know not much for clothes, but I only need some interim things until I get to my goal)
140-$25 for digital scrapbook kits
130-Buy a new wardrobe (unless I decide I need to lose the other 11 pounds that my wii fit plus is telling me I should! lol But I will have to pick a new reward if I do)

2. Scrapbook 300 pages
a. Complete 25 pages a month
b. Keep up with my CT (creative team) duties
c. Complete all S2L Challenges even if they are late (I am already 1 week behind! lol, but I will catch up this week!)

3. Save enough by June to put $4000 into our CD. See we had to take $3800 out last June because my DH had been without a job for 6 months and we just had no prospects in our future. We figured we could use it as sparingly as possible and it would last us for quite awhile. When you have no job you learn really quick to get by on a hardly any money. Anyway, we were lucky enough that DH was only without a job for another 2 months. So we only used about $1500 of the money. I want to save that money back plus a little bit so we can replenish our CD for the next rainy day. No real plan on this one just yet. Getting the credit card bills paid off from Christmas and hopefully start putting a little bit aside from my paychecks.

4. Keep up with my blogs
a. Blog 3 times a week (Tues, Thurs, Sat/Sun) on my Family blog
b. If nothing new to blog about on those days go back and blog about 2009 events that I skipped. Once that is caught up I can blog about memories from when I was a kid!
c. Blog each time/day I create a new scrapbook page or make a crafty project (unless they are gifts! lol)

5. Attend the temple once a month

6. Send homemade cards to everyone for their birthday this year and make sure they get them on time (sorry Amy on both counts! lol)
a. Card club once a month to get cards made
b. Spend two days in Jan and Feb to get a stockpile of cards done
c. Once card is made for a certain person, address and sign them, so I will only have to pull it out, put a stamp on it and put it in the mailbox

7. Go do/see new things this year
a. Circus--Did Jan 9!
b. Rodeo
c. Weeki Wachee Springs--the mermaids
d. Tarpon Springs

8. Make Sunday School class interesting
a. Object lessons
b. Visual aides
c. Prepare at lesat 4 days in advance
d. Kids bring scriptures

9. Complete at least one 5k and one 10k or 13k (this is mainly because most races are on Saturday or Sunday and Saturday I work in the mornings, when the races typically are, and we don't do those kind of things on Sunday, it is a day of worship not racing! lol)
a. Train at least once a week (until I get signed up for one, then after that at least 3 days a week)
b. Find a race by February to enter

Whew, good thing I have a whole year to do this! One day at a time!

    Yay - M! I am so glad you did this... it really does help - to not only remember how far we've come - but to stir us up to move forward and get those rewards! Your goals are great - and completely doable yet enough of a challenge to keep it interesting! I'm thrilled and not surprised that we all share some common goals too! How fun! My first race of the year is Feb 6th... four miles... and Millie is dead and there is snow on the ground!? Yikes?! But - I walked it all last time - so if I can run even 1/2 I will be happy... but it would be great to get in 3 miles - and a bonus if I can run more than that! The next race I know I will do for sure this year is a 5 mile race in June... anyway - yay us! We can do this!!! Love ya Sisser!

    Those are some great goals and we happen to share a lot of them!! I want to run a 5K this summer....maybe we can find one that's on the same day so we can run 'together'!

No worries about the b-day card....I loved it anyway ;) We should plan maybe once a month to work on b-day cards. I'm determined to fit in some crafting time even with school this semester!!

GW by 12/31/07-225 (met 1/3/08)
215 by 1/31/08—Cheesecake Factory (I know we shouldn't do this, but I got 3 GC for Christmas and want to use them before they expire, so decided to get the temptation out of the way immediately! I promise I will only eat 1/3 of my meal and save the rest for later!) Goal met 2/10!!
10% GW: 210 by 2/14/08—$25 scrapbook supplies (met 3/3/08)
199 by 3/20/08—Buy a bike (met 4/24/08)
190—Buy new outfit (met 6/20/08)
182--which will be 50 pounds gone and half way on my journey--Get a cricut. (met 08/14/08)
180—Get a massage (met 9/17/08)
170—Get Cricut cartridge (met 2/13/09 FINALLY!)
160—Nintendo Wii (met 10/21/09)
150—Weekend vacation--Just hubby and I!
140—Weekend Scrapbook retreat
130—Buy new wardrobe
I decided to delete the dates, they were making me a little discouraged that I wasn't meeting them as quickly as I would have liked. So to help, I figured I would just post as I meet them.
