Oct 6 Goals

Things between DS and I went better with homework yesterday, problem was, school was not the best for him and he made some bad choices and so he ended up getting grounded for the day because of them. I certainly hope he can make better choices today.

As for yesterday's goals...I met #1 and #2. #3 I was unable to go to Body Combat since DS was grounded he did not get to go to the Y and play so that meant I don't get to go to class either. So I decided to go to BodyJam at 8pm after DH was home. Did I tell you I suck at it?!?! But it is still fun and this teacher is hilarious! She does explain really well what she is wanting you to do or gives you a great visual to help you make the movement. I got the laundry folded and I did go through some of the mail (had to find the bills that needed to be paid! lol), but did not finish it. Hopefully today, since I leave work 2 hours earlier on Wednesdays.

So speaking of that...here are my goals for today:
1. Drink 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Go to BodyFlow tonight
4. Household chores: Go through mail/clean off coffee table, do one scrapbook page (for the Creative Team Call I am applying for) and finish putting up the Halloween decorations.

That should do it. Here's hoping for an even better day today!


Oct 5 Goals

Yesterday was a much better day. I am on my way back to doing what I should, just gotta keep it up for 21 days right?! That's what makes a habit, hopefully that will help kick my weekend binge habit.

I got 11 glasses of water yesterday, not quite 12, but more than the usual 10. I stayed right under 1400 calories (about 1380). My exercise got messed up, homework took forever again, DS and I had a bit of a meltdown with each other, so we didn't finish until after 4pm, then I had to get my avon orders put together (except stupid me walked off and left them at home! ARGH ARGH ARGH!). So I didn't even start dinner until almost 5pm and I wanted to leave to go to the Y at 5:15...ummm yeah that didn't happen! I didn't even make it there for the class at 6pm. There were a million cars on the road that aren't normally there, maybe it is one of those cases where if you leave just 5 mins later it is completely backed up. But we didn't even get to the Y until about 5 after, then it took forever to check in because they have some new great SLOW system! lol And of course when I am getting there everyone is done with their classes so they are all trying to check out their kid and it is taking forever again, so by the time I got checked in it was a little more than 10 after, not worth it with BodyPump because you have to get a step bench, a mat, and your weights. I would have been lucky if I would have gotten it all together by 20 after. So I decided to do the elliptical for 20 mins, that was all my knee would take. And then I did the rowing machine for 13 mins (that is how long it takes me to row 2000m---guess they probably wouldn't want me on the USA rowing team do you?! lol) Anyway, like I said I got my avon done, but with the forever long homework we are doing I am lucky if I can get two chores done each day. I can usually do one, but that is about it. It is really frustrating.

I am hoping and praying today is a better day for me, DS, and his homework. And a good day of getting chores done! lol

For today:
1. Drink 12 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Go to BodyCombat class at 4pm
4. Household chores: Fold load of laundry and go through mail (again--eventually I will do it if I keep putting it on here right?!)

Keep on keeping on folks! Eventually we will figure this whole thing out (including life!)

Well now I have gone and done it. I suck! lol This weekend was a complete free for all. The only thing I didn't do was go to an all you can eat buffet, but I might as well have with all the junk food I ate. And because of that, my weight is back up to where I was the first of this year. UGH UGH UGH. The only good thing that came out of it was DH was just as bad and so we made a "pact" that we are going to start being good on the weekends. No more crazy eating "because we have all week to get it off". I am going to start tracking everything and planning ahead. We have to do this 7 days a week not just 4. The weekends are killing us. This next weekend we have two meals (one on Friday and one on Saturday) that will be "bad" but we are going to make sure the rest of the day is excellent and that at least on Friday we watch our portions at the party so we get over this justification that we go through each weekend. We have to stop now. Otherwise I am going to continue to see the same 5 pounds for the next 100 years! lol

For today:
1. Drink 12 glasses of water to flush out the sodium
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Get 30 mins of exercise and go to body pump
4. Household chores: Put together Avon orders and go through mail (yeah still haven't done it)

Okay here is to a new week and new month! Let's go!!!

Sept 30 Goals

Well here it is the last day of the month. Here's hoping for a good day today so that I can at least end the month at the same weight or less than I started the month. It isn't looking too promising.

Yesterday I reached all of my goals, I even went to Zumba for 1 hour and then did Body Flow immediately after which is another hour. I did not get through the mail, but since DS woke up during the night throwing up, I will be able to do it today because I will be home with a sick boy.

So with that being said here is today's goals:
1. Drink 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Get at least 15 mins of exercise (I think I will do the gazelle since I won't be able to take DS to the Y for a workout today, besides my knee is still bothering me and I really think I just need to give it a couple of days of complete rest.)
4. Household chores: Pay a few bills, balance checkbook and go through the mail.

Sept 29 Goals

Yesterday was a pretty good day. I got most things done that I wanted to. But my weight is back up again. I am so tired of seeing 166-167 on the scale. It seems that no matter what I do or don't do it just keeps jumping between those two numbers. I am almost to the point where I think I am going to quit weighing every day and only weigh once a week or maybe even once every other week because it is so frustrating to see that same number on the scale when I have upped my workouts, I have been trying to track my food better and yet nothing is changing. :-(

For my actual report...I think I may have only gotten 10 glasses of water yesterday instead of the 12. I did have two large glasses of water at Bunco (which is really 4 - 8 oz glasses). I am not sure that I stayed under calories...there was lots of good stuff at bunco last night...I had fruit salad (cantalope, raspberries, and strawberries), probably 2 Tbsp of a 7 layer dip (with fat free beans in it) with some whole grain type chips, then I had another cracker thing that had a slice of cheese (not sure what kind) and hot pepper jelly on it and finally I had about 1 Tbsp of nutella and 3 pretzel sticks (the fat ones). It sounds like a lot and maybe it was but I certainly wasn't stuffed or miserable after I ate it and I had just eaten dinner about 1 hour before. Who knows. I had my PEP appt yesterday so I did about 10 mins on the treadmill and then about 30 mins of weight training and then 15 mins on the rowing machine. I got the laundry done that I absolutely wanted to and started on a third load and got the pricing done for the women's meeting.

For today:
1. Drink 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Exercise for at least 30 mins
4. Household chores: Finish folding laundry from yesterday and go through mail.

I guess that is all, if I can do more yay for me! lol

    I love seeing your list. I'm a list make myself because I think when you see it in writing, it makes you want to do it plus it's a good feeling when you can draw that line across something finished.
