August 30 Goals

I am not even going to go over what happened this weekend, because let's just say I went off the deepend! lol I gained like 3 pounds, it is not pretty! UGH! I am hoping some of it at least is water weight. We will see in the next couple of days.

Today's goals:
1. Drink at least 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Take 1 class at Y or exercise on a machine for 30 mins and get at least 6000 steps
4. Household chores: Pay insurance and help DS with homework.

Well that sums it up. :-)

  


August 27 Goals

I better get this done now before I forget! lol Well I have lost 1.8 pounds this week! I was down almost another 1/2 pound yesterday, but TOM started and I seem to retain some water after I have done one of the classes at the Y, maybe because my muscles are holding on to it or something, I don't know. Only down 1 pound from the first of the month :-( I have been up and down all month long not good, at least this week I got a good amount down which wiped out the gains I have had lol) Hopefully by Wednesday morning I will have a good loss to report for the month. At this point I will need to lose 3 pounds to meet my goal for the month, not looking good.

Yesterday's report goes as follows: Got all 10 glasses of water. I think I was under the 1400, what I was able to track (you know my laptop problem and the resolution thingy) I was at just over 1100 calories and I only didn' t track two things..one was a granola bar that I know was 90 calories and the other was some caramel dipping sauce for apples and I didn't have a ton of it. So I am sure I didn't eat 200 calories worth of that. I went to BodyJam last night, let's just say I looked like a fool! lol I sucked, but it was fun and that is what is important, oh and that I was moving! lol And I ended up with over 16,000 steps yesterday!!!!!! And I got all the shopping done (well not all because when I got home I realized I forgot the sausage for the quiches tomorrow morning and we are out of cinnamon which I needed for dinner last night, CRAP, so I have to go today).

For today:
1. Drink at least 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Exercise for at least 20 mins and get at least 5000 steps
4. Household chores: Get laundry done and get at least 6 scrapbook pages done

So I better quit messing and get doing!

  


August 26 Goals

A report and my goals for today (yes I am posting late, but I knew about them all day! lol)

Yesterday I got only 8 glasses of water, not sure about the calories as I haven't been tracking. Not that I don't want to but my life has just been go, go, go, go, go lately. I hope to get in a routine soon so I can stay up on things!!! UGH! I think I was under calories though, but who knows! lol I did get 30 mins on a "crosstreader" or something like that, it was kindof like an elliptical but more inclined?? I am not sure, it was the only machine open at the Y last night when I went, so I tried it out. lol It was a good workout, my legs were burning even though I really didn't go all that fast, I didn't want to pass out my first time on it or something! lol I don't remember now how many steps I had yesterday, but it was more than 6000. I did get my checkbook balanced! (of course I went and used the debit card about 4 times today! ROFL So there goes that! lol)

Goals for today:
1. Drink at least 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Do one exercise class and get at least 7000 steps
4. Household chores: Grocery shopping (Walmart, Sams Club, and Farmers Market--I told DH I was cleaning out the bank account and filling our freezer again! ROFL...don't worry I didn't really clean out the bank account or intend to, but I knew I would be spending a lot on groceries this week, we were out of everything that stores in the freezer!)

August 24 and 25 Goals

I did not get on the computer at all yesterday because I work the election polls. So I have to be there at 6am and don't get home until after 8pm. By the time I talked with DH about what happened at DS's first day of school and all that stuff I was exhausted, plus I have this dang cold so I could hardly breathe. I was just ready to hit the sack (but not until I opened a little package I received with my new BLUE cuttlebug in it!!! WOOHOO!)

So here is the report for Monday at least to the best of my memory..lol...I got all 10 glasses of water, I did not track my food, but I am pretty sure I was under my calories. I did not exercise because I was too sick and didn't have enough time between working late, eating dinner and then going to set up for the elections. I did get 6600 steps though. I got almost all of my household chores done. I got the stuff put into my checkbook but did not get the total balanced. I was off by a bit and then I couldn't quite figure it out and I just didn't have the time or the patience to figure it out, I was feeling too cruddy.

Tuesday's goals were mainly to get 10 glasses of water drank, I think I ended up with 9. And to get at least 8000 steps and I think I got 9000.

Wednesday's goals:
1. Drink at least 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Exercise for at least 30 mins and get 6000 steps
4. Household chores: Get the checkbook balanced once and for all (okay well not, for all, since the next time I write a check or make a debit card purchase I will have to balance it again, but get it up to date at least!!! lol).

Honestly this is going to be the only chore because tonight I will be going to the Y to exercise and then DS and DH will have Judo practice (DS's first!). I may take a nap in there somewhere if I can. We will see how long it will take to get DS's school homework done before it is time to make dinner, eat dinner and get to the Y. :-)

August 22 and 23 Goals

This weekend went decent, except DS came down with a cold and then yesterday my throat started hurting, and I have a headache and some sinus pressure. I am not sure if I have a sinus infection or what. This is one of the worst possible times to get this. I am working extra hours at work today, I am a poll worker for the elections and tomorrow is the primaries (6am-8pm), no going home sick, then I work again on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I watch the baby. So it is a very busy and long week and I just really need to not be sick, but unfortunately I am not that lucky. I am hoping to push through and get as much sleep as possible. So with that said, here is a report and my goals for this weekend and today.

Saturday's goal report...I got all 10 glasses of water drank, I didn't track completely because I am having problems with the way it views on my laptop so unless it is already in my favorites I am unable to add it to my tracker. It really sucks! I have asked DH to look at it as I already checked the resolution and it is the smallest (or highest) it will go. But I think I was within my calorie range. I didn't get any exercise in but I got 2.5 miles in steps so I know it was over 6600 steps. I worked on the "cows" while watching swimming on TV and I got the Sunday School lesson prepared. I didn't get the checkbook balanced so that will have to carry over to today.

Sunday's goals and report...are you ready for it??? lol
1. Drink 10 glasses of water--DONE
2. Put avon orders together--DONE
3. REST!!!--DONE (I took almost a 3 hour nap, we all did actually and it was really nice, we rarely get that opportunity because we go to the in laws after church, but with us being sick we decided it was best not to go and get them sick especially since they would have DS all day today.)

Monday's goals:
1. Drink 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Exercise for 30 mins and get 6000 steps
4. Household chores: Balance checkbook, get stuff laid out for DS for 1st day of school tomorrow, get my stuff ready for a whole day at the elections tomorrow.
