August 21 Goals

Everything was great yesterday except apparently my eating. UGH! I got either 9 or 11 glasses of water, I lost track. I ended up eating around 2000 calories. CRAP! I guess I just wasn't paying attention and didn't think what I had was as many calories as it was. :-( I did go to the Y again today and did 30 mins on the treadmill. I can tell you my legs are feeling it!!!!! OUCH!! When I stepped down off the treadmill I thought I was going to die! lol I got over 11,100 steps yesterday!! WOOHOO go me! I didn't get 6 scrapbook pages done, but I did get 4 done, which considering I went to the Y for about 1 1/2 hours, I was watching the baby and I had to take an hour out of the day to put dinner in the crockpot because I had forgotten to do it in the morning I feel pretty good about it. :-)

Today's goals:
1. Drink 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Exercise for at least 10 mins and get 6000 steps
4. Household chores: Work on the "cows" for at least 30 mins, finish balancing my checkbook and prepare my Sunday School lesson for tomorrow.

August 19 and 20 Goals

Oops I forgot to report and post new goals for yesterday. Oh well, I have them written down here.

Review for the 18th--#1 I only got 8 glasses of water. #2 I did stay under my calories! #3 I didn't get any exercise done. #4 I got the TV almost completely cleaned off. I have about 5-10 items left on it, which is good since the pile on it was about 8 inches high and now it is only about 3 1/2! lol And those things are bulky items that just need to find a good home for them! lol All the garbage and scrapbook paper is thrown away or put away! :-) I filed the bills and went to the library (super quick because it was about to pour!)

Goals and recap for the 19th
1. Drink 10 glasses of water--I think I got about 14 in
2. Only eat half my salad at Chili's for lunch bunch today--YEP, just went a little crazy with the chips, salsa and queso...it is my weakness! lol
3. Take 1 class at the Y and get 6000 steps--Did BodyPump (a weight lifting, squating, push up class...HOLY CRAP!! I am hurting today! lol) and got 6050ish steps
4. Household chores: Get the laundry done, cut out the rest of the cows for our RS meeting and complete the Template LOs for one of my scrapbook Creative Teams--DONE (all 260+ cows UGH! lol)

Yeah I was supposed to have also gone to DS's School Open House and TOTALLY spaced it!! I am sooooooooooooooo mad!!! I kept thinking there was something that I was supposed to do in the evening and could not think of it! And I can't take him to the first day of school because I work the polls and it is Primary Election day (stupid freaking school board, how stupid to have the craziness of the first day of school as the same craziness of the elections!!!)

Anyway for today's goals:
1. Drink 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Exercise for at least 30 mins and get in 8000 steps
4. Household chores: Complete 6 scrapbook page LOs

August 18 Goals

Okay I overdid it with my back yesterday, it is aching, but manageable. So I will push on and take a few advil! lol

Oh I forgot to tell you all, we actually got a membership to the YMCA!!! I am sooooo excited, so is DH and DS. They will both be taking Judo there for free (as part of the membership!) and I may even try it a time or two to see if I like it too. I mean if it is free why not?!?! At the one near our house they have a rock climbing wall, I am looking forward to trying that one out once my back is much better. lol A large fitness room (treadmills, bikes, etc), a swimming pool and a "splash park" with water slides, they have at least 1 fitness class every hour or two hours from about 5am-9pm every day. :-) Plus they have lots of team sports and open gym time. DS was upset we couldn't actually do anything on Monday night and that we didn't go "play" yesterday. I might try to go tonight, we'll see, if not, Thursday for sure. Plus we got a scholarship so our membership is less than the regular one AND since I told them my friend referred me she was able to get one month free membership! Cool huh?!

So anyway, that is our news. As for yesterday's goals...#1 done, #2 done (or at least pretty close, I was not sure how to calculate the cuban bread I had for my sandwich for lunch yesterday, I guess I could have tracked a french bread and it would have been fairly close, but without tracking that my calories were at 1303 so I think I was okay, it wasn't a huge sandwich/piece of bread.) #3, I rode my bike, but am not sure how long I was gone, I think it was close to 25-30 mins. And I got 6700 steps in yesterday. #4, I got the family blog post done, I straightened up the living room, kitchen, and guest bedroom, and I worked on the "mooooolah", but we decided we needed to make 550 cows (cut with the cricut) and it took us about 3.5 hours to make about 300 of them, that was just cutting them out! We only got about 25 completely done! UGH! lol And that was with two machines cutting and three of us working on them. Good thing we have until Sept. 7th to get them all done! So a pretty good day overall.

Today's goals:
1. Drink 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Exercise for at least 10 minutes and get 6000 steps
4. Household chores: Work on the pile on the TV tray in my scrapbook room for at least 15 mins (it is over flowing and needs to be cleaned up), file the bills, and go to the library.

August 17 Goals

So I think my back is about 90% better now. I am trying not to push it too much, but still trying to get things done. I have to lay down about 1/2 way through the day and give it a rest, but it is getting better! :-) YAY!

Yesterday's goals went pretty good...I didn't quite get them all done but almost. I got #1 and I am pretty sure #2 done (I am not sure on the calories because I didn't have a chance to track it). I did not get #3 done, but I got almost all the household chores of # 4 done! The only thing I was missing is I didn't get the family blog post completely done. I got the pictures fixed and uploaded, but need to do the writing and then post it. I will do that today.

Today's goals:
1. Drink 10 glases of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Exercise for at least 20 mins and get 6000 steps
4. Household chores: Finish family blog post, straighten up house, make "mooooolah" for RS meeting

I think that is all for today!

August 16 Goals--Starting again

I was totally wrong on Wednesday, I should not have gone into work, I ended up going home after being there only 3 hours. I was in so much pain, it was not fun. My DH took my DS to the in laws for the morning so I could stay in bed and rest without worrying about him. I spent all day Wednesday and all day Thursday in bed. I managed to finish one book, read an entire book on Thursday, and start a new book on Friday. I was in and out of bed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I am feeling much better, but still need to lay down after about 4-5 hours because my back starts hurting again. I did actually get that pile cleaned up FINALLY!!!!! That was the only thing I got done on Wednesday. Thursday my only chore that I had to complete was to fax the docs for our mortgage refinance and I got that done. Other than that, like I said, I was in bed.

So today I am hoping I can make it through all of work, I may have to lay down on the couch in the breakroom at some point though. We'll see. Other than that I am going to get back on track today with everything so I can meet my weight loss goal for the month. I still have all 4 pounds to lose for the month, not good.

Today's goals:
1. Drink 10 glasses of water
2. Stay under 1400 calories
3. Go for a walk (I think that is probably the extent of what I can do for exercise right now)
4. Household chores: FHE/Sign up for the YMCA, do one family blog post and one scrapbook blog post

I think that will be plenty for today. Have a good day!

    I can so relate on the back pain. Have your gone to a chiropratcor .? They have these heat patches that work pretty good too. Oh and the ActiveOn stuff I got at Walmart works pretty good too. It's a roll on, non messy and just a slight hint of a smell. since my lower back refuses to stay in place,these are what is getting me through standing for hours at a time. Feel better.
