Starting in November we did the Getfit Challenge at Stroller Strides which lasted 3-4 weeks (I can't remember how long). Basically we take a baseline of our fitness level with specific exercises, crunches, squats, running, and planks then at the end of the challenge we assess our fitness level again with a personal goal thrown in. I achieved my personal goal of losing 2lbs and achieving the highest % of improvement of anyone in the class!!! I am shocked because my baby has been sick so much that I probably missed about half the classes :P
I won the Getfit logbook with a snazzy pen! I am so proud that I wanted to share my achievement with you guys!!
Basically Stroller Strides is a class for mommies with small children. Its a full body workout using calisthenics, cardio, and a resistance band, all done in a public place like a park or a mall.
