Tuesday sightings

OK. First, I had my cereal and Milk!! A pleasurable sighting, that. Of course, no one was looking. Then, I walked a bit back and forth between work and the courthouse. Some sightings by others, and I enjoyed the sun while we had it

Then, for lunch, I ate what I brought yesterday. GOOD STUFF!!!! Just at 400 KCal for the meal.

Then, off to court for an interesting hearing. Several good sightings will occur. Work pals, acquaintances, and even a budding friend or two.

Then, for dinner - AAARRGH - no plans, I will think of something, though!

Then, off to CSCC to teach. I have such fun teaching!!

Well, a good start. First. I HAD MILK for my cereal. Tra La!!!!! Very exciting. Then, off to work, and I had a good morning with my legal assistant. We accomplished a lot.

Then, for lunch, not so good. I brought my lunch, an then decided it can wait until tomorrow. I went OUT to Burger King. BAD BAD BAD. But, I am still within guidelines on everything I must watch, more carefully, what I have for dinner, but that will not be a problem. Never is.

Oh, well. Onward and upward!1

    Great job starting the day off right! You can make small changes to your eating out habits to make them more healthy or at least less calories. For example, I was getting the Baconator at Wendys (just ketchup which means no mayo). I then went down to the Son of Baconator. That saved quite a few calories but was still pretty darn high. I switched recently to the Junior Bacon Cheeseburger and it has much less calories. I am still always wanting my fries, but I think what I'll do next time is get a side salad (which is great) with no dressing or croutons and then just a small fries so that it's not as big of a damage like the large I normally get. So, just try something like that next time. Go down a size in burger OR get a smaller sized side. You are doing fantastic! Keep it up!

    Even at BK, you can make a better choice: a small burger, omit mayo, don't eat at least half of the bun, get small fries versus super-size, diet soda or water, salad, grilled chicken. You can track it and make allowances in other areas of your day. Keep on sparking!

Well, I finally got that milk!! Went shopping for the next two weeks and purchased some really good things. No packages. Just raw food, and some canned food or food in jars (preserves).

I am trying to get more protein through a suggestion about cooked shrimp and cocktail sauce. So, I paid a LOT of money for medium cooked shrimp. I packaged it up in 10-shrimp sized freezer bags. I just had 10 shrimp and sauce. Tasty!!

The remainder is in the freezer, properly labeled and stored.

At home

I am working from home today. That gave me an opportunity to look more closely at my refridgerator and take out things that are past their prime. It seems that I need to replace (!) one of the lightbulbs in the refridgerator. I need to move aside some things to accomplish that task. I do not even have an idea what sized bulb it takes.

I expect to attack that task first thing on Saturday. I do, indeed, have important legal work to accomplish today!

Anyway, the food choice thing is improving. However, I really, really, need to get that milk!!

A good day, all in all. Ate three meals. Balanced. Within calorie range, etc. I am looking forward to an even better day tomorrow. I am trying to get more veggies/fruit in my diet. That is taking some real effort!!

    Good going! I didn't get in three meals today. That's going to be hard for me, as I'm not a breakfast person. Lately, I'm beginning to think I'm a 5pm to 11pm person. All other hours are *thumbs down*. LOL I know what you mean about getting your fruit in. I am doing the 17 Day Diet, and I'm supposed to have 2 servings, which hasn't been too bad, because I like my blueberries and yogurt. :-) If I had to work in more, it would be a real challenge. I'm not sure what kind of plan you're following, but maybe you could sneak them into a dish you're making, instead of eating them by themselves.?? Just an idea. :-) Be strong!! You can do it!
