I am staying home tomorrow. It means a rush of phone calls for the office staff, and likely a problem with the judge, but, there, you have it.

I am staying home. I will miss nine court hearings. Too much exposure of others, and, quite frankly, I am not in the mood to over-medicate myself so that I can successfully do my job.

My job. I love it, and I have a good work ethic. But it is not worth the harm to myself or others.

    I'm sure everyone else will appreciate you not bringing your sickness to the office. I would rather be shorthanded today then have a staff full of sick people next week. emoticon

Yet another day of coughing and minor fever.

So, I will go straight home from work, prepare dinner, eat said dinner, and REST.

I already consumed my 8 glasses of water. A bright spot in an otherwise dull day.

I am at work, getting things done, but it is like moving through molasses!

    IMHO, you should NOT be exposing others to what you have.

    Are you able to stay home and recover? You'll work better well than sick, and the rest of the office might not catch it. The length of your illness may be shortened by taking care of yourself instead of adding the stress of work, too.

In any case, I hope you are better soon.

Productive day

Well, I have been at work for 5.5 hours now, and I have been productive. Slowly, because I have a minor fever, but productive none the less.

My food is within all boundaries. My last seven days still looks good. The dailies are still problematic in carbs (low) and sodium (high), but the weekly average is within range. I find that eating meals made at home are far less likely to have high sodium counts. I have amped up the carbs through rice and beans. They work nicely to get the carbs number up.

I do not feel like going to the gym (fever), so I will, when I get home, do some lightweight dancing to slowish music, and try to get those 8000 steps in that way. No pushing. Just dancing a bit.

    I seem to have problems getting protein in. I was having sinus problems over the weekend so I know those kind of days can be challenging

Late Start

Today I got up late and did not have time for breakfast. Grabbed an oatmeal bar and took off for church.

I H ATE getting up late. But does that change my habits? NO!!

However, I did eat the lunch I had planned.

    It's all about implementing small changes until they become normal routine. Congratulations on not skipping breakfast, attending church, and getting right back to your nutrition plan as soon as you could!

    Hard to be perfect all the time. At least when sitting in church, you are not sitting in front of TV snacking! It was doughnut Sunday at our church and so I took in bad calories even there!
